How To Become A Better Pupil

  1. So you're wondering how to be a good pupil? Or maybe you've never been a pupil before to an active player? This guild was inspired by my pupil...a newbie at owning actives.

Anywho..I'm just basing this off of experiences of my own..which may or may not pertain to yours whatsoever.
Oh! If there are any bb code fails, you should just ignore them...it's almost 5 am. .__.

    Covering the Basics:
For those who've only ever owned inactives, which for me, I didn't start looking for actives until about an mcs..I was more focused on upgrading, anywho, you'll want to find a UP (under priced) tutor. To calculate stats (as taught by Voldemort, if it's wrong, blame him(; ) This more or less pertains to those above 11 kcs. Add up the strength and intell together like you normally would to find the KCS. And then half it. And then boom! Presto! You have the normal hiring price. You may buy OP (over priced) tutors, that's entirely up to you, but they will most likely be harder to sell if you end up changing your mind.

Make sure you actually have an active tutor first..especially pertaining to those who sell tutors. Many times have I been told a tutor is active, until you look and find out that it's not..mainly by smaller stats of course. To see whether your chosen tutor is active look at their inventory, gifts, wall posts, and their fight/dance stats. If everything seems up to date...you have an active. 

To DV or not to DV, that is the question.
I always find some posts on campus interesting, especially those asking for hires and DV's (Drop Vollies). For those unaware, a drop volley is basically hiring cheap tutors (usually inactive) and hiring back and forth between your tutor and yourself. The object is to give your tutor money. On a side note, a common misconception is that it's a pupil's job to give their tutors money. I've seen it before and have even heard it from past tutors. It is NOT a pupil's job to give you money, especially when some tutors don't even spend it on upgrading. It is, however, your job as a pupil to lead your tutor in the right direction towards making money.

Leading your tutor to making money.
Money is essential to PimD, without it, you couldn't upgrade, buy gifts, tutors, or pots. But exactly how do you tell a new player how to make money? Well simple.. Jobs are great for newer players, the small cash gives them enough to help open a few dorms and filling them with some mates. Also, on a random note, if you're buying a new player, volleying them up to around a bil or 2 always helps with the initial upgrading process. Parties are also great for smaller stats, and finally farming. What is farming, you may ask? Farming is an older concept that has probably died since the release of cat cafe parties. Anyway, farming is where you dance or fight inactives (and actives, also known as BL hitting) for money. Hit 2-3 times and regen. Farming, however, should be left to tutors around 20-30 kcs .

    The pesky TC
What is the TC? It's known as Tutor Chat. My pupil seems to be under the assumption that he must talk regularly in the TC with me..which isn't entirely true. A pupil may or may not talk socially with their tutors, it's entirely up to you. However, if they come to you with a question, do help them.

Well, this probably didn't help you become a better pupil..and it probably has bb code fails galore. But do read it, don't read it...up to you. TL;DR - Everything important is in bold. Finally I'm done...off to bed I go.

  2. I feel like this could've had more potential, but I was getting aggravated and sleepy..oh well. .-.

    To all haters, FUCK YOU

  4. Actually the pupil has no responsibility to tutors. It's all optional

  5. It's half stats above 100kcs ?

  6. Blame Voldemort..I got the information from him. ?

  7. Yep, pupils have no responsibility over their tutors.. Pupils just hire them for tb.. That's just how it is.. If you don't like your pupil go ahead and drop stats to 0.. That's your only way of getting out of his/her grasp if he/she doesn't want you to get hired..

  8. My pupil is the best 

  9. Being a helpful pupil isn't necessarily a responsibility, but a courtesy. Up to the pupil really if he/she has enough to spare or not. My view.

On the guide itself, it was great, just a helpful suggestion to help readers seperate information try using more seperated paragraphs. Take it or leave it no hate, just advice ^.^

Great efforts all in all. Regardless on your views of what a pupil does, I'm sure there's some newer pupils out there who will find this useful :) cheers and happy gaming ^.^
