A full moon.. On Friday the 13th?! Can't get much spookier than that, right?! But today happens to be both of these combined It's the first time a full moon has fallen on Friday the 13th in 14 years, and won't happen again for another 35 years, so it's kind of a rare event! (thankfully?) Both the full moon and Friday the 13th are synonymous with eerie, freaky stuff.. So much so, there's even phobias about both! ?The fear of a full moon is called selenophobia, and it has been associated with lunacy, werewolves and witchcraft ? There have been many studies conducted over hundreds of years, and a correlation has been found between full moons and lunatic behaviours. Scary thought, huh? Also, if a girl's menstrual cycle also falls on the full moon, you'd better run and hide.. ?
