  5. Okie, so this is going to be a bit different from now on. Since you've found out the basis of the story, I'll be introducing more characters. I want to get as many fairy tale characters as possible. So, I'd like for a player of PiMD to represent each character in my story. You may choose any charcter I've already introduced, except Zara. SmilyApollo gets first pick, as this was his idea!

Thank you for inspiring this new twist! :D

  6. Please submit your character that you'd like to represent and which fairy tail they come from. You may do groups of characters. Ex: The Three Bears, The Three Little Pigs, The Seven Dwarves, etc. Thank you!

  12. The Falling
    Chapter 5
    Chas's POV

After I'd hit my third homerun during practice, Coach Daniels finally told us to go home. I packed up my gear and headed to the gym for a quick shower.

"Great work out there today", my friend Rosie said as we entered the locker room.

    I smiled, "Thanks Ro."

Rosie is a small and petite girl. But she's one heck of a pitcher. She's got light brown hair with natural red streaks in it. She's got amber colored eyes and freckles on her cheeks.

I took off my practice clothes, grabbed a towel, and stepped into one of the showers.

Practice had gone longer than I'd thought and I knew I'd be late meeting up with Z. We usually spent Thursday night at her house. Mainly because my stepfamily couldn't stand her.

Z and I were alike in a lot of ways, even our families were similar. Our father's had both died when we were young. My mother also died when I was young, but no one knows what happened to Z's mother. We both had stepmothers, though I had stepsiblings and she didn't.

To say the least, we stayed at Z's because her stepmother was almost never home.

Her name was Ariella and she was a beautiful woman. But she was cold and hated Z.

And that's why I hated her. Countless times I can remember Z coming to me when Ariella had mistreated her.

I stepped out of the shower, toweled off, and got dressed. I fluffed my hair and grabbed my bag.

Oh well, Z will be happy someday. I just know she will.

    Rosie's POV
    The next morning...

I woke up to sunlight streaming through my window. I sighed and rolled over. I usually kept the curtains shut, which means Grams was up. I sat up quickly. Wait a minute. Open curtains, Grams awake early, and did.the air smell... pancakeish?

"Purple pancakes," she called from down the hall. Her voice tinkled like a bell and I felt myself relax into the sound of it. I'd miss that voice one of these days.

I threw off my covers and sat down at my vanity. I brushed my hair back into a high ponytail. I put on a short sleeed white summer dress. My favorite pair of ballet slippers and my red jacket completed the look.

I ran my hand down the jacket and jingled the zipper.

I feel the rustle of the fabric as it is draped over my shoulders. The color is blood red. I know she worked hard to make it and I love her for that. I turn and look into the eyes of my frail grandmother.
"Thank you for the cloak," I say and kiss her cheek.
"You will need it someday," she tried to smile but her eyes are filled with something knowing and wise. Something that is also sad.

I shook off the memory and headed down the hall.

As I entered the kitchen, my cat, Lucy, wound herself between my legs. I picked her up and looked up to see Grams smiling at me.

"Blueberry, you're favorite," she said and flipped a pancake on to a plate. She handed it to me along with a fork and I went to the table. I set Lucy down and gave her a bite.

"Thanks Grams," I smiled and took a bite.

"No problem," shr checked her watch. "Hurry or you'll be late."

I nodded and finished off my pancake as she cleaned up the stove. I handed her my plate and kissed her cheek.

"Love you Grams," I called as I headed down the hall to the front door.

"Love you more Ro," She called back.

I smiled and scratched Lucy's ear. She tried to follow me outside, but I managed to escape.

It may have been my last goodbye, because on the way to school I crossed paths with The Big Bad Wolf.

    Marcus's POV

I wondered if telling Zara was a good idea. It wasn't like I could have said, "That guy? Oh he's just some spychopath."

But now I had to find out if Chas knew. And if not I had to explain to her. I sighed and kept walking.

Oh well, if things don't turn out happily, I'll have to tell them again and again.

We'd all lived dozens of times over the period of a couple hundred years. And I thought it was about time we got our happily ever afters.

I really hope I don't fail that BB code.
