No they are not myth. Tbh I even did studies on it in high school. Where ppl even had court cases aganst them and they called it neglected care for a chilled. Maybe you should start looking things up.
Tbh I could see a cattle farm using less than even a corn farm. One they mostly only need to feed animals on the land and move them around vs ppl farming none stop on one land and taking the nutrients out of the land over and over again.
In terms of harming the environment, one of the biggest factors in global warming is methane. Biggest producers of methane? Cows, when they fart (no joke). Therefore, eat a cow, you'll be doing your part against global warming
