Beta War Inactives Resolve #1

  1. Well Pimd I was thinking about beta war inactives and one thing that stuck to my mind of how to resolve this problem would be by giving less time before the war.

    Before the actual war starts we have a 2 hour period for matchmaking. If this matchmaking time could be narrowed to 1 hour or less there would be less chance of beta war inactives.
     
  2. I was already thinking along those lines, however it's there to make sure matchups are all good. Sadly I haz not the powerz to shorten this, though it would be awesome to make wars faster to get into.

After the original sign ups, during the 2 hour waiting time, those who are matched, will need to confirm they are active by signing up, or confirming they are active at the 1 hour mark of the 2 hour match up period. They have 30 minutes to confirm this, with 30 minutes before the wars start, these sign ups are closed, and kick all those who fail to sign up, or confirm attendance. After this, clubs are re-balanced to make sides fair, as one side may have more kicked, or may have more bigger players kicked than smaller players.

    This is my idea how it can work, no matter what there will always be some inactive's, but afif and my idea's can reduce them slightly. Sadly inactive's are apart of wars :(
     
  4. Well pimd there is 1 more thing u can do.
    There should be a button made 15 min before the actual war. If people dont press the button before the actual war they are automatically removed from the war . Thats a good way of taking inactives out of the issue.

  6. I don't think anything should be changed, inactives are part of war. Sometimes they help your club win sometimes they make your club lose. Oh well, it's part of playing the game and trying to strategize knowing u have inactives or knowing the other club has inactives. Maybe for players who don't log in at all during the war, not have any drops for them, win or lose. Like in parties when some players only registered 1-3 hits, they get nothing.
     
  7. i agree op i usually be tired.of.waiting.them 2 hours and take a power.nap but wake up 3 hours later
     
  8. That still wouldn't stop the ppl that plan on being inactive
     
  9. That's why when Zach made a thread like this i was trying to suggest that players in war should make a number of hits to qualify as active. If they do not make the amount of said required hits then no hunt drops. This would cut down on ppl signing up for wars just to plan on being inactive and getting hunt items win or lose.

    But i do agree i wish we could have a shorter waiting time before war starts.
     
  10. Sometimes you're a cow the moment the war starts, don't get any hits in if u have no dns.
     
  11. Also some one had this idea on the thread I did but can't remember who, something about those who are inactive in war get reported and are banned from beta wars for a set number of wars, something along those lines.

    And rosi, you can hit from pin if you are pinned from the start.
     
  12. Why not this:

    Have everyone register their most expensive tut before war starts. If they don't at least log on once during the war, after the war is done, their tut automatically gets dropped. 

  14. I GOT A BETTER IDEA.

    The person who doesn't hit at least 50 times in the war, THEIR ACCOUNT GETS AUTOMATICALLY RESET.

    This will push people to be active in FEAR OF THEIR ACC NOT RESETTING.

  15. Yes I know that and that is why I also talked about a number of hits that also can work if you were a cow
     
  16. I have been pinned in beta war many times but I hitted from pin.

    Zach I did like that also. Only problem I saw is if ppl falsely reported ppl. So idk maybe ata has to check into it to see if ppl was inactive as reporter said.

    Like let's say I hit a person twice and they had 6 defense pots I would add the defense pots of both hits. Lol

    Until my pupil was like "where the fuck you get that 12 from? " and be taught me the ways.

  18. Well angel I think we can fix that problem too .
    If Pimd can appoint some Mini War Devs like zach and some people .
    devs will email them the number of wars happening . For example - 50 wars are happening . These mini war devs can share their work with each one of them and look at the club history and note down their name and send it to pimd.
    In turn pimd would ban them from entering the next beta wars.

  20. ^ ok that does sound like a gd idea hun. Thing is I think they mean report who was inactive in last war so they can't sign up in the next eh 3 wars or so
