Chapter One One day I was laying in my bed and I heard the beating of my heart because it was 1917 when the Nazis invaded my country. My family hid in secret for the past 4 months in our Fort in Munich. The crunch of the dry, fragile, fall leaves crunched as the commanding officer Lud Fransi from Paris Nocked on our door waiting. My parents were very cautious so they filed us back in the back room were we my 2 sisters could only hear not see anything.
