Donald sterling isn't exactly 90... He should know better by now that society has changed. Yes, you may say whatever you want privately, but I think if the NBA had took that approach of, 'oh he said it privately, no one else was supposed to hear those comments.' Then, NBA too would be in the wrong, we can't just say it's ok to be racially discriminatory behind closed doors cause it would just make it seem like it's okay to be racist again. Racism should never be okay. Whatever you say privately is up to you, unfortunately sterling got caught out and he is a public member of society so, of course there is also going to be a huge backlash.
