I suggest that PIMD should conduct an Indian Festival based hunt. We could get Indian avatars in the end <3 It would be really cool.
Absolutely! The girl Ava wearing a piece of mirror embroidery thing? I think this is cool even though I am not an Indian
Have you yet to notice that all the hunts have been based on events that happen around most of the world? Not for a certain country, race or religion? It won't happen.
Christmas - Christian Holiday Halloween - Originally Pagan holiday turned whatever (but it's an American thing mostly!) Easter - Christian Holiday Mardi Gras - Non-religion/region specific (see carnival, festival, Fat Tuesday, etc) St. Patty's Day - Irish Those seem pretty religion/region centered to me. The only two I can think of that were not religion or region or even ethnicity specific this year were spring break and Mardi Gras. Though one could argue that it was kind of specific as not all regions have something similar to Mardi Gras. There is no Passover hunt, no Kwanza hunt, not even a St. Joseph's day hunt, nothing like that. I think it would be cool if the devs were more mindful of the diverse demographic and included hunts like those as well, seeing as how not everyone is an American Christian on this game. Which reinforces the fact that there is little to no PoC representation in the game. I may not be Indian but it would be cool and I would be totally interested in participating in the suggested hunt, if it were to happen.
Im not Indian nor Asian but it does seems like a good idea. We got blacks n white avis, not being racist, and there should be an asian avis, too.
Just because something is more common does not mean that people should over look things that are not as common. There should be more diversity in the hunts. Not just mostly Christian celebrated holidays. There should be hunts for all religions, since there isn't just Christianity. I've nothing against it, I'm a Christian, but it isn't the only religion out there. And it certainly isn't the only religion that all of the players on here identify with. A hunt for every cultural background, I say. Or at least an attempt at it.
The art girl and intellectual are in fact Asian, but they're white washed. Not all Asians have light skin like that. And I don't believe the bunny girl is Asian. But that's in comparison to all the fair skinned white avatars. As I said, under representation. It's not just in the avatars it's in the hunts as well and there should be more diversity
You clearly ignored what I said. Just because something is common doesn't mean we should ignore what is not. That's like saying it's more common to see a brunette so let's ignore all the red heads. Which is dumb. But that is basically what you are saying.
