I thought catfishing meant catfishing literally. Anywho, I'd stop talking, yes. Cause if this person knows you for 3 years and still cannot trust you enough then not worth it.
Well I mean if they had a good enough reason then yes. I don't like showing my picture online, so I've showed a fake one to someone who asked me for a picture for safety reasons. I wasn't close enough to trust her with a picture of me, but I didn't want to alienate her either.
I don't get why people lies online... I've never lied in online, I don't need to create a new life because my current one is pretty awesome. If you create a whole new fake life, it's probably because you have a low esteem.
That's not always true. I know "attractive" females that show "average" photos of other people to eliminate being stalked and stuff.
What, Angel said. You don't have to show your picture to random people over a screen. Cat fishing could be due to just being safe. You post at your own risk.
