The Story of Jester

So it's been a very long time since an Off-Topic story was posted here, so I thought I'd write one to help forums a tiny bit. Don't worry, it won't be rp like in fan-fiction; It may or may not have dragon in it though. The post will be quite long, so if you're not interested in reading long posts, then why not look for the dragon and then leave? Anyways, here I go. Don't fail me Imagination.

Once upon a time, there was a wandering man by the name of Jester. He often drifted from town to city to village to look for work so that he may buy food for his eternal journey. He had many experience in many things due to his journey but he excelled in combat due to growing up alone in the wilderness. Jester would often fend off highway-men and robbers all around the world as he travelled and has easily won.

Jester was thinking about all his battles when he finally arrived in Coxersa, a city of heros. Jester began to think of work as he wandered the busy streets and looked about for employment opportunities. Not too long after, something had caught his eye: [ADVENTURERS WANTED] was what the sign said. Since Jester was a traveler, he thought that the job would be perfect for him, so he headed towards the building and walked inside.

A man in bright blue clothing came up to Jester and asked, "Are you an adventurer looking for work?" Jester replied "Yes I am". The man said "Perfect! We need you to complete a team that's about to head out." He then took Jester down a hallway to another room. Inside the room were three other people; 1 man and 2 woman.

"Here's the last member of your team, hopefully he'll be good enough to keep you all alive on your journey" the man said. "Oh, well, it's nice to meet you, my name is Raven" said the woman in dark purple clothing. The man in black and red armor said "ARE you good enough? What are your skills?" To which Jester replied "I excel in combat and exploration, it's what I've known my whole life." The man in the armor said "We'll see about that" and charged Jester to which he successfully side-stepped and disarmed him, quickly and efficiently.

The other woman, whom was in light blue robes simply shook her head and said "That's enough, Kaname. Just as long as we have a full team, we'll be okay." "I was only testing his skills, Ahliedal" Kaname said back. "Who are you anyway? Whats your name?" Jester replied "My name? I don't know my name. I can't remember it. A lot of people just call me Jester now, ever since I can remember." "Jester? Why can't you remember your name?" Asked Ahliedel.

"Because I lived alone growing up and wasn't exactly serious about everything, so naturally, people had started calling me Jester and that's what I stuck to." replied Jester. "Well, isn't that interesting" said Raven. "We should be heading out about now." Everyone agreed with Raven. So the man in blue left with the words "You people be careful out there, it's one of the most dangerous places to be in."

"Don't worry Hill, we'll be alright. We can handle ourselves" Kaname said. So then all four adventurers left and ventured out of Corxersa. It wasn't too long before a person stood in their way. "Excuse me, but can you move out of the way? We've got some place to be." Raven called out. "Do you now? Well, if you wish to pass through, then you must win a fight against me" The man smiled.

"Who are you? Why should we fight you just to pass?" Kaname said. "Me? You may call me Jopo and I'm the guardian here" the man replied. "A guardian? We can't win against a guardian, they're too strong." Ahliedal warned. "What choice do you have if you want to pass through?" Jopo chuckled.

Jopo then started walking menacingly towards the group of adventurers. And he laughed softly with every step.

I hope you had enjoyed reading this. If you liked it, I'll keep it up until I finish and more users will be included into the story; some with main roles and some with brief roles. It's up to me to decide who gets what.
