So with the X2 CC parties people are going crazy. I'm intrigued to see the pimd's community's thoughts when it comes to tut prices. To me tuts should be half their stats no matter what. But of course people have different ideas. Like "the buyer sets the price" "All tuts are for sale" "It's only a game" "It's an open market" So to me I can hit anyone that hires a tut that I consider over priced "retaliating how you see fit" after all it's only a game and everyone plays the game differently. Battle button is there for a reason. "If you disagree with hitting over tuts. " why do you? " So if you dare try to play the game the way you want people are bound to moan and ?about it. Surely if you can handle the consequences it shouldn't matter how you Play as long as you don't moan and complain over retaliations??? So would you all be happy if tuts you thought were op were hired? Can you handle the consequences if people retaliate how they see fit? happy gaming
I've played the game for a while and always gone by the "half stats" as a guide for prices, yes it's an open market and also an open battle button. I don't understand how people can get mad when they get farmed for hiring an op tut, it's a little bit of a contradiction that you feel you can do what you want with regards hiring tuts and expect others to follow this unwritten rule of not farming over tuts ?
There should be a tut prices market that has a set tut price for each kcs. Or it could fluctuate each week() like stocks going up and down and what not. But there would be a place we could check kcs and prices
If someone hires while I'm in war I will wall post them, if they are rude in return then I have been known to hit one or two times lol I don't buy a tut unless I have full intentions of keeping it, I don't hire just to get a bump. If a tutor wants a new pupil I would never attempt to stop them being hired away, also of someone asks not to be hired I respect that. There is a lot more cash floating around due to cc and no new upgrades. I go by what I see in the market, Ill search 4-5 pages and get a sense of what is underpriced and hire accordingly.
I generally go by 1/2 stats = underpriced. However that varies by a few kcs and now I've even started reconsidering because with all the money it seems that the best tuts in a given range aren't 1/2 stats.
As far as there being a battle button as well as a hire button, of course anyone is free to do as they please. I personally find It courteous not to hit somebody over a tutor you've kept a good value as if asking for it to be hired. Expecting nobody to hire your underpriced tuts is equally as naive as expecting not to be hit over hiring an overpriced tut. But that's just the view of someone who spends a good amount of time looking for said underpriced/market value tuts.
I personally only hate it when you plainly state on your status that your tutors are not for sale then some idiot hires anyway. It's not random hiring unless it's for some 1bil noob tutor. If it's a 300kcs or higher tutor then it seems to me to be normal game playing courteous and well known to all players to be decent and ask the pupil and/or tutor if they are for hire before just hiring away. In my opinion it's just rude people knowing the pupil will hire back and so they know they'll make the money. And it irritates me. Lol. LEARN TO READ. Lol. Might not really relate to your topic but it's still my honest opinion ?
I try and op all my tuts by atleast $150b, when they get close to only being op by $50b I bump them. Cat Cafe has definitely brought money quickly, and now everyone has more money than sense which is leading to more op tuts being hired. I never ask to bump and up tut, only exception is war/sfw, and anything else thats up is fair game. Also if an op tut is hired then I think you should handle the person who hired as you see fit. Just my two cents
Its stupid to hit over a tut lol cuz they hit back after they hire back and it usually ends up to some sorta war whether small 1 v 1 (which never happens much these days) or one of the two ppls clubs getting involved(which is most of the time these days) there really isnt a right way anymore cuz everyone plays there own way so it kinda just varies with who the ppl are. In my opinion it is stupid to start a sfw over a tut tho cuz u will just lose more then hiring back lol but its your game if u think its worth it more power to u is all i can say lol
I usually use half stats over 100kcs. Any tuts I want to keep are well above that amount and if they get hired I will normally hit at least once over. ? I don't try to farm but my tuts are op for a reason.
just cause you have a status msg doesn't mean we can't hire your tutors. Tuts go go highest bidder. Don't like it? Press that battle button?
All market prices are of course made by the buyers and sellers, the more likely a tut is to b hired at a price at that point is the determination of Op or Up although technically both are only made by common opinion. More of a guide for ppl that wana sell or mee. Obviously the more money we al have the more the market will change. I have always seen it like an auction, the highest bidder keeps. If ppl hit over hires or not it is down to them. There is no set rules in which to play the game but every action does usually come with a reaction. Some ppl like risk, so again it is down to the individual I guess.
