Using your device while it's charging.

  1. This is a few paragraphs from an online website.

    A 10-year-old boy from Dewas district was seriously injured when a mobile phone, said to be of Chinese-make, exploded in his hand while charging, police said today.

    Police said Arihant has fractured his fingers and also sustained injuries on his face and in eyes due to the blast.

    He was taken to a private hospital in Indore last night.

    A doctor treating Arihant said he was out of danger, "However, blood supply to one of his fingers is stopped. If there is no improvement in the condition of that finger, we might have to amputate it", he added.



    I know this is kind of silly, but this actually happened. When you're charging your phone, iPod or any device while you're playing it, it opens a circuit in your phone. That's why your device gets so hot and if it gets hot enough your phone can and will explode.

     That's a daily fact for you guys.

  4. Woah.  I'm scared of my phone now, it's really hot. ? But that actually makes so much sense  Also, leaving your device alone while it's charging is said to increase it's battery life.

  13. Also, using chargers not meant for your phone can also cause this. Wall adapters are set so only a certain amount of voltage at a time gets sent to your battery. If you use different aftermarket ones that cost you 0.10$ it will most likely not have the voltage block thing so BOOM!

  14. From experience. My PSP battery "exploded" on my bed while I was messing with it. It shot out the inside acid and burnt a hole through my mattress.

  20. That's terrifying, but right now I'm using it while it's charging and I'm not going to stop. Sorry but it's not hot.
