Rangers apprentice is action, adventure, set in the past but I wouldn't really call it historical fiction, sort of fantasy because some of the creatures but no magic in it, etc.
To be honest, Of Mice and Men was a great read. It's not a series, though. I wish it was, man that book is just amazing!
Maus by Art Spiegleman, it's a cartoon of the Second World War. Art Spiegleman's father was a survivor of the wat and the story is developed in the father's point of view. It's not very heavy to read by the way the cartoonist represented the ethnical groups. The Jews are mice and Germans, cat (I wonder where the name Maus came from lol). It's worth reading it, though it's a bit expensive...
I didn't know divergent was a book series. I want to read that. Cos devil that was a good book but really sad:/
