I just hitted the point where i dont see my life going anywhere, i miss someone special in my life, i never got the chance too have a proper goodbye it still hurts even though its only three years long anyone got tips on how to get through this ?
Everyone's in a bit of the depressive stage. It just depends upon how it's handled. Don't lye in bed. Go out. Take a shower. Work out. Don't devote your thoughts or time to dwell. Do something that will make you feel better.
Wow, most serious post I've ever seen from p1ckl3s I don't know much about relationships ? but yeah, what she said.. I can't believe I said that.. but it's true. if you do stuff you like to do, or just anything maybe it'll get your mind off of it ?? I wish you well! Follow if you wanna talk
^ lmao you just promoted her to objectify herself in order to feel something, which by the way isn't love, rather lust. Well done
Has this person passed away or are they still alive? If the person is alive ask him/her to talk because you need closure. If they refuse to talk, wish them the best and move on.
Majority of times the depression isn't even real.. You're thinking yourself into it. Like the poor sod Jortzy. Like Ms. Pickles said.. Taking your mind off something you can't do anything about is the best path. ~NOT with things that harm you.. like Cutting or Drugs and whatnot. Good things which are productive and enjoyable at the same time. Which give life a meaning. While if you are capable of helping yourself solve the problem causing you depression.. Then you shouldn't be wasting your time. Just a general thing of course.. nothing specific to your situation. Relationships are best left for smarter people.
You need to try and think positively, and I know that it's easier said then done, but you need to write down how you're feeling and assess these négative thoughts. Also, spend a few hours a day doing something you enjoy to help distract yourself. If all else fails go speak to a counsellor, or a friend who is an optimistic.
If it's your father, there's more of an incentive to do things.... For him. Also, things that he would be proud of calling you his daughter/ son. Are you in school? Have a respectable job? Have a talent of some sorts?
He never was once proud of me like never 19 years an he never once said im proud of you Maybe its ego too say but i just wanted those words once from him Im in school @Pickles an yes i have a talent for drawing im following art classes
Lord Jesus knows we've all been depressed, suicidal and what not, but giving up isn't an option. (Well it is, but ya know... It's not really a good one.) The thing you always have to ask yourself when you're depressed is "What the fuck is going to happen tomorrow?" Because if you give up now, you'll never know.
