I remember going to a construction site museum.we had a show off family friend we all started jumping around to give her encouragement she got stuck in a manhole prop with steps barely big enough for us kids she said it was because it was the small entrance out. She's lovely really, lol
The best memory I ever had was in the 5th grade I met my first love and he became my best friend even though my life was in shambles he made it much better
Not to rain on this parade but all my memories are just things I see, nothing that I can really share happily....memories are only things to drag people behind, they make people fall behind and lose track of themself
The day I met my first boyfriend. I didn't know him from Adam but as soon as I saw him I felt HAPPY, like I was seeing someone I hadn't seen in many years who had been my best friend. I repeat, I had NEVER seen him prior to this. Turned out, we had so much in common it was scary, but wonderful. We only dated for eight and a half months, but we've been best friends nearly 20 years now.
This memory came back to me when I learned that my grandad has passed away, I saw my mother crying and crying and I remembered a plush toy my grandad has bought me when I was 2. My grandad, holding my hand, took me to this little convinience store. It was kind of dark and behind the cash register there was a shelf on which was a few pretty plush toys wrapped for gifting purpos. He told me to choose one, so I picked a dark coloured gorilla one (that my grandad didn't like because it was dark, he wanted me to take the bright yellow duck). He bought it for me and as I grew older, I forgot about it. When I immigrated, I brought it with me, but it was always in my closet. The day I learned my grandad passed away, I remembered it. I gave it to my mother and told her that I still remembered what happened that day. It was a very sad period of my life, but I think it was one of the prettiest thing I could remember.
My fav memory is when I went to Disney land. I touched Mikey mouse. I rode on rides. I licked a chicken leg. I almost couldn't ride the elevator ride cause I was too short, and then we finished the night off with some alien ride that my mother hugged the man next to her, which wasn't my father.
I almost went on the E.t ride and cried. He was scary. I cried in the jaws ride and didn't keep my hands in the boat like they said. So jaws hit my hand really hard when he popped out.
Another great memory is my 8th grade graduation. It was in this huge hall with this unnecessary statue in the middle of the table with the food... It was a buffet. Needless to say, I like to touch everything, and I touched the 4 foot statue that wasn't really all that stable, and it fell down on me, and I fell, and the potatoes that were under the statue landed in my salon done hair. I just realize my "best" memories are the ones people uh ally classify as the "worst"...
Since I have so many stories.. Here's another: We (my friends and I) were on our way to the beach, thought it would be a good idea to wear white shorts.... Got my period, oh wait what, and yeah I didn't know until it was too late. But we went to get me tampons. Anyways... So being the genius that I am, and didn't have a change of clothes...(no one wanted to stop at the mall...) I ended up picking up RED FOOD COLORING with my tampons that you use for cupcake icing and dyed my shorts red in a parking lot. I used the entire pack on my shorts in weird blotches, and wet them with a water bottle so the dye ran. It was sunny so they dried fast when we got to the beach.
