Is it just me, or is there a lack of communication between the developers and the community. I feel like they are unresponsive, distant and there is a huge lack of communication. Whenever they put up new posts, events and anything similar i feel a little better knowing they are trying to close that akward gap. The only time pimd community is around is when deep drama is in the air. I thought the point of pimd_c is to be more in thouch with the community. Im sadly not seeing it, am i the only one who feels this way?
Meh. That's why there are mods. So PIMD_C can lay on a beach with our money, smoking a Cuban cigar, while mods do his job for free. They're smart. Let them be.
I'm sure with about 6 games now if they told us their salary we'd still spend our money and not care.
You don't because you are a chump.. Why would she come here to post on a noob thread. Get over yourself!
I've seen what some people spend on this game. If I were a developer I'd be out enjoying the money rather than scrolling through forums and game play trying to get in touch with the gaming community. Fair play to them.
You guys fail to notice that even during non business hours PimD_C is on PimD looking through threads and stuff. I can't count the amount of times Pimd_C has been on at 2am his/her time. Not only that, but I'm sure his/her job involves more than just checking into forums and such, because I doubt ATA would pay someone just to do that one task. You guys need to understand that ATA has more than just PimD to deal with. They have tons of other apps. And while, yes, they can individual teams for each app, those teams are busy working on bettering the game, and can't spend all their time on forums trying to see what we want. If you really read and absorb what PimD_C says, you'll notice he/she explains why some things we would like aren't happening soon, and that ATA is aware of our wants and needs, and have to proirtize their time according to what they need to do. Some of the things we ask for are just to make things easier, but aren't neccesary, so they're put on the back burner. Before you complain about every little thing ATA doesn't do.. Remember what they actually do. Understand that they are busy actually working on the game, and don't always have time to babysit our complaints. If you're unhappy with how PimD_C is doing his/her job, email support. Email address: support@athinkingape.com Remember to include the following in your email: Username Game you play Inquiry/Issue Also remember it can take up to 48 hours to get a reply.
I agree with Elei/whatever her actual name is. Pimd community is trying to interest with us, and s/he does reply to a bunch of threads.
Thanks so much for the kind words and support. I do indeed pop by to check up on things outside of work hours. I'll even leave a comment or two where I can. Unfortunately I'm not a robot (as awesome as that would be) and so I'm not able to be here 24/7. As for me not being active in game on pimd_community, it's mainly because my presence would cause a pretty large disturbance to people playing. Perhaps I can try to pop in every so often, though I prefer to hang out with you all here on the forums. It's much more open to discussion than a flooded Campus Chat. I do read what you all write, and your suggestions and opinions don't go unnoticed. When there's something the community feels strongly about I do my best to relay your passion to the developers. We can't act on everything, and things do take time, but we do seriously consider all of your feedback and suggestions. I can't really give out any specifics just yet, but we have some interesting things planned ^^
