I'm sorry if I'm coming across aggressive. My girl is religious and I see the strength it gives her so I'm not against religion by any means. I just find it hard to believe and do think a lot of these stories are highly exaggerated.

 

Noah (pbuh) was the third Prophet of God, he was born 1056 years after Adam (pbuh)

So you can take a guess of how far back that is.

 

Religion = faith/believe that happened. Theres no proof that something like that happened you just have to believe that because thats what your whatever religion your in beliefs in

You asked and I told you lol. Everyone wants to see physical proof of their own in order to believe something.

If you read through the history of each Prophet, the reason why the disbelievers of their time were all punished is because even after seeing physical proof, they still turned away from it. Just like the case with Noah (pbuh) who tried to spread the message of God for centuries, until it got to a time where no more people believed him. So he asked for God to punish them, hence OP's ark question.

Nevertheless, whatever i tell you, you'll want physical proof to believe any of it, and you won't believe unless it's God's will.

I asked how long ago Noah lived. You haven't given me any period in time. Like I said, it's all about how you interpret vague stories from the bible. We are discussing an event where the sea must have been at least 10,000m higher than what it is now for it to flood the entire Earth. That is a ridiculous amount of water.

 

They actually did find noahs ark , I think it was found in Asia. Google it.

 

A little research done and apparently Noah's ark was discovered in Turkey, 3,000m above sea level and dated back to 2,800BC. Pretty convincing?

Type in 4800 years ago in google. Comes up with an asteroid that could have hit Earth around that time and caused a massive tsunami. Even more convincing?

Ancient Egyptians and Mesopotamia, geographically very close to Turkey, were both huge civilisations back then and neither were affected. Bit odd.

I said, he lived 1056 years after Adam (pbuh) who lived for about 930 years. So from the time Adam (pbuh) was created till now is about 2000 before mankind; so again, a very long time ago.

 

Define what you mean by the word 'Mankind' please. Were people known as something different in the days of Noah?
