Malaysia Airlines Flight 370 (MH370), also designated under a codeshare agreement as China Southern Airlines Flight 748 (CZ748), an international passenger flight operated by a Boeing 777-200ER aircraft, disappeared on 8 March 2014 with 227 passengers and 12 crew members on board. The cause of the disappearance remains unknown. Flight 370 departed Kuala Lumpur International Airport, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, at 00:41 MST (UTC 8) on 8 March 2014 for a scheduled six-hour flight to Beijing Capital International Airport, Beijing, China. Subang Air Traffic Control Centre lost contact with the plane at 01:22, while over the Gulf of Thailand, and it was reported missing at 02:40. Malaysia's air force chief said military radar showed the aircraft may have turned back before disappearing. A joint search-and-rescue effort is being conducted by American, Australian, Chinese, Filipino, Indonesian, Malaysian, Singaporean, Thai, and Vietnamese authorities,mainly over the South China Sea. Several agencies are investigating the possibility that terrorism is involved, with focus on at least two passengers who were using false identities. Families of the victims are giving up hope due to being more than 60hours with no news of their loved ones.
That's the first thing that came to my mind was some terrorist act. Hopefully that's not the case. This is sad (insert sad emoji here)
They are many possibilities that it could be, we all know that a plane doesn't just disappear, they found a airplane door in the ocean, but confirmed it didn't match the aircraft. Sad thing that ppl using fake passports even got let on the plane. Hope for the best and they find something soon.
So far what I've heard is the plane may have disintegrated at 35,000 feet leaving no traces except small fragments that are reported being found.
Yeah it's sad ? Even if it disintegrated, it should leave small pieces of fragments. What about the bodies? The luggages?
