Death in the shadows I see you! There behind me, a little person unknown, creeping up from the ground to pull me from the earth. Falling, falling, down, down I can't see where I'm going. Hell bound! Oh dear, I think my death is becoming clear. Slowly slipping beneath you, my brow dripping with sweat. The taste of blood now on my tongue. What the hell am I to do? Screaming like a mad woman trying to give birth. Oh how i wish the pain would quit. Trembling in a cold exertion, but all it was, was just a dream. Looking at the pillow beside me there were rips that seemed to like claws. I am alive and fighting for the life and truth to be told about me.. Slowly closing my eyes I block the dream that I thought was coming real.
Ode to loneliness transforming into love Today I am fine without you, but I'd run away without you. The sweat I feel running down my brow as I try to escape this empty feeling . As I sit on the couch looking out the window I see the streets destitute making me go crazy with the feeling of loneliness. Dreaming in my own little world as sleep has over taken me. I wonder what love would feel like. My heart pounding and beating loud to the rhythm of love wondering what it would be like for that one special kiss. Opening my eyes slowly and in the face of loneliness I look into no longer, but instead I am looking into the beautiful appearance of love. Love has struck me dead in the face and happier I have become because I have met you.
