300 was such a bad ass movie. The one chick was so hot, and the other chick was so hot. Boobs. Like, there was a sex scene and I thought they were fighting at first because they were hostile, but no man, Athenians did it real back then. Like damn dude, break freaking walls. These guys were super freaking chiseled, like God bodies, and I was sitting there drinking my large coke and eating my large popcorn, watching these jacked as hell Athenians and Spartans fight jacked as hell Persians and the hottest chick ever. Like, Eva Green.. I'd Eva her Green's out if you know what I mean.. Probably not. But seriously, aside from the fact that I'm a history major and some parts were extremely above and beyond historically inaccurate, there were some pretty accurate stuff that was in it.. However I feel that this movie was more Hollywooded up than the first one, if that were possible. It follows a timeline during the war, from before the Spartans allied with the Greek city states, then it cuts back to the first movie with the 300 Spartans and 1000 thespians (also in accurately portrayed in the first movie), to where the Spartans allied with the Greeks to fight back against the Persians. The movie ended at a perfect opportunity for another movie. There is still much of the war left. From the battle of marathon, to where the alliance finally kicked in after King Leonidus died. I recommend the movie, history major or not. Stay Frosty, -CJS
Like nothing about the movie was historically correct but there were some key parts that I thought were super important and were worth mentioning.
I'm looking forward to it, but will have to wait for the DVD most likely. Looking to take the fam to see Mr Peabody and Sherman ️
The 300 is based on a comic book, not history. It's Frank Miller's comic book that's in theaters.. Not a historical documentary
