I'm more worried about the sudden uprising of people thinking that God and prayer will stop the necrosis and refusing to get proper medical treatment. With the right medicine, those open lesions wouldn't be a breeding ground for insects, and maybe it would start healing properly, rather than spreading.

In all honesty those photos resemble a condition called necrotizing fasciitis which is a flash eating condition caused by bacterial strains that enter through broken skin. Unfortunately this isn't part of any prophecy and does in fact occur throughout the world already. In the us treatment involves aggressive surgeries and involvment of cdc to track source of bacterial strain. Sorry but this isn't the start of the end of the world....just something that already exists but is not well spoken of publicly
