  1. I always wear t shirts and shorts most of the time. I'll wear jeans occasionally but not often. Doesn't matter how cold or hot it is, I have endured anywhere from -20 to 120 degrees.

  2. Lmao, if it's 45 degrees I jump for joy because it's so warm. Hell, 20-something degrees is pretty good

  3. He wears short shorts and wears t-shirts he's head captain and I'm on the bleachers

  4. If this thread was about the weather you live in and "endure" then all these comments would be relevant.

  5. A place south of me had -42 and a wind chill that made it around -60

  6. You could simply be just more healthy. Healthier people are better at regulating their body temperature.

Reasons for feeling cold all the time:
    Drastic weight loss
    Not enough healthy muscle mass
    Anemia
    Smoking and caffeine
    Drugs/medication
    Poor blood circulation
Hormonal changes or issues with hormonal glands

  7. You could simply be healthier then your friend *

  8. I'm one of those people that's almost constantly cold.

Drastic weight loss combined with vitamin deficiency and iron deficiency makes it hard for my body to regulate temperature normally.

  9. @Madpro--Your comment was relevant…how?

  10. @DormAnimal......MadPro's comment is relevant because 99.9% of the responses to this post are in no way related to the question asked by op.

  11. Your body seems more efficient at maintaining homeostasis than your friend's. There are multitude of answers to this question ranging from muscle fiber type and density to body fat percentage to neuron firing.

It actually can be quite dangerous if it isn't your body maintaining homeostasis, but instead your brain not telling your body you are cold. This is a serious condition that needs to be carefully monitored as severe temperature related illnesses can occur.

?I am not a doctor and all of the above is just an opinion.

  12. I wore shorts to school in the middle of Illinois winter. Some people just tolerate cold weather better than others can.

  13. Males naturally have a warmer or higher body temperature. Scientifically speaking. And you've probably adjusted to all temperature fluctuations in your area. Females unfortunaly have lower body temperatures, with the exception that a high metabolism in women raises the body's core temperature. But bad circulation could play a part in her not warming up with 5 layers on. Hope this helps.
