Alright, pointless thread? No! Well, maybe. Yeah, probably. Definitely. Earlier today I was walking alone on a road, and a stranger walked by. I had never seen him before in all the time I've lived here, and I decided to wave. A simple wave, quickly, with a smile. You know what he did? He looked at me, then kind of rolled his eyes. He looked at me the way you'd look at somebody who really, really pissed you off. At first I was kind of surprised, like "what the hell was his problem?" Then it kind of hit me. Maybe he had a bad day, maybe something bad happened. Maybe he lost something, maybe he gained something he didn't want. I thought about this for the rest of the walk, and by the time I was done I felt I had a new understanding of the role that other people play in my life. To me, my world is all me. Every second I am alive I see what I see, but never anybody else. Behind each and every one of these names and nameless faces there is an actual person. A person who to me may play the role of a person simply passing by, out of millions, only once in a lifetime. A person who is so insignificant to me, but still holds their own lives, equal and greater to the vast size of my own. So here I am, at home, playing some silly game. All of these meaningless names on here with lives behind them are standing out, and I think a bit about each one. So, silly game, I have to ask. How was your day?
It was fantastic. Other than the story above, I made a sandwich. ? I then proceeded to drop the sandwich on the floor, scoop it up and eat it anyway. No shame, highlight of my day.
My sister which is older than me cried because Iopened one of my two dorito bags, ate 3 chips, and gave her the rest.
I then opened my second bag and made it obvious. While eating I asked her if she would be satisfied in the belly with 3 chips so I fave them to her. Moral = hide your junk from your sister.
