49ers Nuvarro Bowmen (53)'s leg injury during the NFC Chami

  1. During the 3rd quarter of the NFC championships, Bowman had just stripped Seahawks receiver Jermaine Kearse after a red-zone catch when teammate Eric Reid hit Kearse, knocking him into Bowman's lower leg. The knee buckled to the inside and Bowman went to the ground in obvious pain. Doctors later identified his injury as a torn anterior cruciate ligament. My prayers go out to him and his fast recovery. Comment about your views about this
