  1. So just to update everyone, I wrote my brother and now him and I have started to text and both of us are stoked to hear from each other

  2. Awesome bro!

    Hope everything works out!!

  3. I went through a similar situation and was told not to talk to him again.

That's good to hear, man. Shit's deep but that's really awesome. Good luck out there

  4. Are u kidding me. Even if you doer some reason didn't want to ever meet him, you still owe to that other person (in this case your brother). To have the right to make the same decision on his end that you get to on yours.

I'll leave you with this. My brother and I have been in some stupid, low, crazy fights and arguments in our life. We both have said things we would both have trouble saying to your worst enemy. We have yelled, screamed got in 3 separate fights in Our Las Vegas hotel room on the eve of New Year's Eve and were 86ed from the hotel while still paying for 3 nights ($1000) after being there for about 15 hrs. And didn't talk for almost a yr. But when push came to shove and anyone else tried to do anything to the other person. I have a zero percent doubt that neither off us wouldn't hesitate to do anything, and I mean ANYTHING for each other. Blood is thicker than water, never give up on your family even when they give up on you, in the end your family is gonna be the only one standing for u.

I hope this gives u a better understanding on how important getting to know him is. Just trust a stranger that has nothing to gain from your gain when you do meet him. God Bless.

  5. I'm adopted and I've actually been debating finding my biological parents and getting to know them. ? but I don't even know where to start. Glad it worked out Wallace. 

  6. Wallace Just do it. Like Nike says

  7. I've really been thinking about contacting my father lately actually. I just don't know how I'd react. But good for you man 

  8. I didn't get a chance to know my father and half siblings for a long while. My father is serving a life sentence, and my siblings were scattered like leaves across the country.

When I was old enough to make my own journey, I took the time to know all of them. It was one of the best decisions I've made. Taught me so much about myself, life and kinship.

I'm happy for you, Wallace. It's a great, deep and perilous journey. Worth every step.
