Royale, I believe that I shall be the judge of that. Please post it. Or prepare to face the consequences.
If you post one but don't like it and post a different one at a later date (only do that once, otherwise it's kinda blah), can you do that? It's okay if not, just wondering.
Post them on here, there's enough threads clogging up FF already. Reposting with a new and improved oneshot at a later date is absolutely fine.
Since I'm sorta back now that school work has died the f down. I'm going to make a Christmas story for kids is that aloud?
Be my guest, I love twisted things Approaching a delicate subject such as pedophiles is truly a trait of good writing ability. Or you could take a humorous view on it. I love both types of writing equally.
A Christmas Story Introduction: -------------- Christmas was time of year for family to finally be together and have fun. Everyone loves Christmas because on that day love can occur and you also get presents. Garret was the type who hated Christmas because his parents die on that day. When that day came on he would isolated himself from everyone, because honestly he though people were just pathetic believing in Santa Claus. As time passed, he became a real grouchy person that consider himself to be a waste of space to everyone around him. _______________________________________________________________________________ Garret was sitting down on his room when his aunt Joanne came barging into his room yelling. " Garret, what do you want for Christmas?" She knew right away what his response would be but she just didn't want him to feel left out. Garret didn't even say anything, he just got up and left room bumping into her without even apologizing. " What do I to do to make you love Christmas like you used to, back when your parents were alive." She looked at him as he left his room. For a second when she looked at his face, she saw tears. She sat down on his bed staring at the phone of Garret parents. " Why did you left him alone in this world?" She asked crying. Garret was on the other side of the room putting his body weight on the door. " That's what I wanna know too." He said sitting down covering his face with the palm of his hand. He looked at the ceiling slowly as tears fell from his face. " Why do I always have to suffer on this dreaded day, why can't I ever be happy?" He asking himself feeling lonely. " You aren't alone Garret, you have your aunt and her family with you." A voice in his head started telling him. " They have always been by your side no matter the problem you have faced." It told him. He just couldn't clearly identified this voice but He knew that he had heard it somewhere before. He went back into my room and saw Aunt Joanne slumped all over my bed crying while sleeping. He grabbed the sheet that was on the floor and covered her with it, smiling a little bit. " Your attitude makes them suffer Garret, they try to help you but you just keep on pushing them away from you." It said on his head. He hit his face on the closet door trying to shut the voice in his head up. He grabbed his sweater then went outside seeing the clear white sky and the snow on the ground reminding him of when he was little, back when his parents where alive. He walked around the neighborhood watching as kids smiled holding hands with their parents. He decided to go for a run around town trying to get away from the happy emotions that Christmas was gonna give to others tomorrow. " What do I truly want for Christmas?" He asked himself shaking his head trying to remove that though away from his mind. " Stupid, stop thinking like that." He yelled at himself hitting his head with both hands. He lived in a rural area in Albany, New York so it was hard for he to run without almost getting run over by a car. I reached a dead end when I run in an unknown street. As He walked deeper, He started to hear crying so loud that it always made his eardrum burst. As he walked deeper into the unknown street, he felt something drawing him toward a black house. He knocked on the door but nobody answered so he started to investigate the whole place but there wasn't any light on in the first floor but he could see light coming in a room on the second floor. He found a ladder and putting it where an opened window was at. He climber the ladder fear creeping into his mind but he ignored it feeling desperate to get inside the house. " Mom Dad, where are you?" A little kid voice was heard as he finally entered the window. He felt a chill on his back but kept on walking as the voice started to get louder. He try every opening every door he saw but they were all locked except the last door he opened. Inside, he saw a small girl slumped into a corner crying really loud. He crept closer to the little girl feeling dizzy as he got closer to his but he fought his own instinct to flee and put his arm on her shoulder. " What's wrong?" He asked her sitting beside her. As he looked closer he saw blood coming out of her gown so he quickly picked her up. The girl started wailing yelling for her parents to help her. He walked out the room, climbed down the stair and finally got out of the house. " I will take you to the hospital so don't worry." He smiled at her running to the nearest hospital. When he got there, the nurses quickly took her out of my hand and put her on a stretcher. She yelled for help so he decided to grab her hand. " Even if your parents aren't here, I'm gonna be waiting here for you." He smiled at her slowly calming her down. " Sir will you fill in this form." One of the nurses gave him a form asking him many question. He started filling out the word giving the little girl and fake name and fake age. He wasn't sure what her name was at all but he would ask her later when she was feeling better. He closed his eyes falling asleep for about an hour. He woke up when someone started shaking him awake. " Sir visiting time is over." The nurse who woke him said to him. " I'm not leaving until I get to see Anne." He said to her growling between his teeth. She nodded accepting his condition. She came a few minutes later then showing me to the little girl room. He went to the room sitting beside her. " How are you feeling?" He asked her yawning between his teeth. She smiled at him grabbing his hand. He didn't know why but her smile really made his heart beat a lot which somewhat confused him. He knew for sure he couldn't return the smile right now. " Thank you for saving me." She said grabbing his cheeks. She closed her eyes looking her face is looking up. " Tomorrow is Christmas correct?" She asked him. He nodded. " If I leave the hospital tomorrow, will you teach me what the true meaning of Christmas is?" She asked him. He stayed quiet while looking at her not knowing how to respond. " I lost my parents today sir, so please?" She looked at him as if she was about to cry. He stayed quiet trying to decide if he should do it or not. " I can't do that little one." He looked at her a little bit sad. " Even I don't know what the true meaning of Christmas is." He said to her before an idea came to his head. " But I guess my family can teach the true meaning." He said as he got up about to leave. " My name is Brenda Carson, Garret." He stopped on track when she said his name shocked that she knew her name. " My older sister Beth Carson used to have a crush on you but she die." She started crying which forced the nurses to come in and sedate her. He looked at her through the window feeling relaxed as he saw her sleeping face. He finally walked out of the hospital and saw the moonlight sky smiling. He headed home and went directly to his room ignoring everything his aunt and uncle asked him. He lay on his bed thinking about what to do yesterday before finally going to sleep. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- The next day on Christmas Eve, Garret woke up really early to visit Brenda which his uncle and aunt found really weird being that he rarely went out on Christmas. Before he headed to the hospital he decided to go buy some flowers for her but he wasn't sure what kind of flowers to buy her. While he was doing this, his aunt Joanne was following him trying to see what is up with him even though she didn't want to but this weird attitude of his made her suspicious as if something was going on. She followed him to the hospital which she found weird since she knew that Garret never got sick. " Hello did Garret Ryan just came to the hospital?" She asked the nurse. The nodded and handed her a paper which showed his signature and that he visited a girl named Anne Ryan. She found it weird being it that she didn't know anyone with that name but she also decided to pay her a visit. The nurse showed her to Anne room and he saw Garret talking to her. " Are you feeling better?" Garret asked her with a smile on his face. She nodded grabbing his hand. Out of the door, Brenda saw an older woman enter the room which made Garret jump. He quickly looked infuriated when he saw her but calmed down when he saw Brenda cute face. " What are you doing here?" He asked her. The older woman started explaining that she had followed him because she found his attitude suspicious. For a whole Garret wouldn't say anything but then he just grabbed his head. " Why must you always ruin my life?" He yelled at her. The woman was about to say something but Garret just cut her off. " I'm trying to show this girl the meaning of Christmas by bringing her home but as a surprise but you always have to ruin it." He said while pointing at her. Joanne found it weird that he would say something like that but she was happy he at least was gonna celebrate Christmas for once. She whispered something on his ear. She walked away leaving them alone. " Sir, Ms. Anne is able to departure today." A nurse came in talking to Garret handing the girl a bag. The girl saw inside the bag and saw that it was clothes. Garret left the room for a while waiting for Brenda to change into the clothe she was giving, then after she was done, they left the hospital heading to Garret house. Garret decided to take the long way trying to make that Brenda wouldn't notice. The reason they were taking the long way was because Aunt Joanne had told Garret to stall so that she and her family at home could buy a present for her and give her a Christmas she would never forget. After 30 minutes of walking they finally reached his house and Garret opened the door letting Brenda enter. " Surprise." Everyone yelled as they entered which had surprised Brenda and him, since he hadn't known what type of surprise party they were gonna have but for him it felt like a welcoming party. He left Brenda with his aunt and family then headed to his room promising to come back downstairs, but if they would had looked closer at his face they would had known that he wasn't gonna come back. Joanne waited for a whole hour for Garret to downstairs to start the party but she didn't know why but she felt as if something was gonna go room. She climbed the stairs and went to his room but all she could see was darkness everywhere with the only light illuminating the room was the tv. She walked to the tv and saw that a video was on pause and in it was Garret. She touched the play bottom and saw what the video had to say. " I know that whoever is watching this video, you as might as well be asking where I am but don't worry about it and don't look for me." Garret stayed quiet for while there but then he started speaking again. " I'm sorry that I'm not there will you all but I have my own reason, while I started looking over Brenda yesterday I felt that it would be better if I disappeared for a while." He closed his eyes for while. " Aunt Joanne, the last 4 years you had taken good care and never called me a waste of space, you never ever got mad at me but I was always mean to you always hurting your feelings, today is Christmas so I'm gonna tell you what I want my Christmas present to be and that is…" he stayed quiet for a while before speaking again." And that present that I want is for you not to look for me just wait for me to come back and to take good care of Brenda no matter what, treat her as your own daughter of you have to, she lost her parents and sister and maybe she doesn't have any more family so I want our family to be her family from now on and forever." He said before the video went black. Tears were streaming down Joanne face as she put a hand on her chest feeling like her heart was broken but then the video started again saying something that caught her off guard. " You have always been my family and the reason why I left is because I don't want to be a burden anymore, aunt Joanne and uncle Jerome you two have been like real parents to me, so I want to be away from home and when I finally learn they true meaning of Christmas I will finally come back." He said before the video screen finally went black. She started crying even louder knowing that she wouldn't see Garret no more but she was happy that he had chosen his own path and move on. When she went back downstairs, her family was waiting for her and she went directly to them hugging each and everyone of them stopping when she had to hug Brenda. She bended down to her height looking directly at Brenda eyes and grabbed her hand smiling brightly. " Welcome to our family Brenda." She said before hugging her with tears on her eyes again. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Three years has passed since Garret left the Ryan family household. Another Christmas was come in 5 days and Brenda was looking forward to it. She was now 13 years old and she really loved living with Aunt Joanne and her family. Ever since that Christmas 3 years ago, Brenda has missed Garret a lot waiting for the day he came back. As she wandered the street, she felt fear enshroud her as she reached a dead end at a corner. She turned around and saw older men heading her way. They started surrounding her making her back up into the corner. " What the hell are you people doing?" A familiar voice yelled. The mens quickly turned around and left her alone. She felt thankful toward him but as she came closer to him, she could recognize him immediately. " Garret?" Said Brenda as she looking at him closely. The man smiled at her before starting to walk away. " Why are you leaving me again?" She yelled at him. " You promised me that you would always stay by my side." He turned her way and patted Brenda head. " I'm back now aren't I?" He raised his eyebrow at her, making her smile slightly. " Marry Christmas Brenda." He said grabbing her hand and walking toward Joanne house. Christmas approached quickly and the Ryan family were partying fully. Among them was Garret who learned what the true meaning of Christmas was. He decided to walk out of the house and walk around turned. As he walked around, he heard a child crying. He headed to the direction of the crying seeing a woman and the baby being harassed by thugs. " Leave them alone." He yelled at them surprising each of them. He walked toward the woman and the baby holding his hand out to each of her. " Do you have anywhere to go?" He asked her. She shook her head saying no. " It's Christmas today, my family will be really happy if you spent Christmas with us." He said holding his hand out to her. The woman grabbed his hand and they started walking to his house where the smiles never end and sadness never occurs. The End. <><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><> I'm sorry if this is a whack story but it's the best I could come up with. And also I haven't written a story in a while so this is the first time in the last 4 months that I have written a story
Entry. One shot. - Hippogriff/Rani. Coming Home . .A frosty breeze hung in the air and snowflakes gently fell to the floor to form an elegant coat. Darkness lingered in the brisk evening air, confirming the oncoming night to the much anticipated day. . .Christmas day. The day when families got together and celebrated, pulled crackers, ate and forgot about their worries for the day. The day when children were excited, ripping open brightly covered wrapping paper to reveal soon forgotten toys. The day everyone's spirits were high, and the day everyone was happy. . .Mark was beyond excited. He had already been walking for hours, wandering in aimless directions and asking strangers for help. They generally did; the uniform clinging to his well built body confirming he was a trustworthy figure. . .It had been a long day and his lightly tanned skin was home to dozens of goosebumps, but it was all worth it. He continued to walk down the slippery gravel pathway, a grin never leaving his lips. He was coming home from the army to surprise his family. . .Mark had joined the army when he was twenty three - eight years ago - meaning he reluctantly had to leave behind his girlfriend and four year old son. They and the rest of his family were supportive however, and he wanted to do what was right for his country. After seven years of being in the force and getting away with a few minor injuries, he got captured after getting injured when a shell went off and brought back to the enemies hospital. . . The enemies brought him back to health then torturing him again, for they knew he had information. After being in the army for quite a while he was a high ranked figure, although his skills with long ranged guns also helped him become the rank that he was. He still loved his family, but at the same time he also loved his new found friends and would not reveal they're location. . .As time passed, the officer discovered a body which they assumed to be Marks. Missing In Action changed to dead. The message soon travelled back to his family, who were distraught at the news. The boy would never know his dad properly, the mother lost her son, and the girlfriend lost the love of her life. Or so they thought. . .Hearing the news, the enemy camp realised he would no longer have any useful information. After torturing him slightly more simply because of the fact he was English, they gave bewildered Mark a fake identity and shoved him out into the streets after driving him in a darkened van for hours. . .After spending a day in a cheap hostel, the man limped on towards his destination. Home. Despite the cold air shown through the cold puff of air appearing when he exhaled, the excited man had a warm glow about him. As he walked, he thought about his girlfriend and son to pass the time, occasionally running his tongue along his chapped lips. He was going to see them again. . .A smile tugged on his lips as he ran a hand through his uneven bronze-coloured hair, letting it fall across his forehead loosely as he returned his hand to the pocket of his camaflauge uniform. His mind was clouded with thoughts of his girlfriends soft caramel hair and sweet laugh and his sons odd but adorable perks to think practically. . .It had been months since he was declared dead; a lot can happen in that time. . .As he stumbled along the crooked pathway, he noticed something out of the corner of his sparkling green eyes. Hidden between a mass of twisted branches was a familiar sign. The branches were like snakes, curving around the long ago carved grooves and almost hiding it from sight. But the words were still there... Mark smiled. . . 'Welcome to AshMay.' . .Mark reread it a dozen times, the words igniting a sudden shoot of happiness inside him. He was nearly there. He quickened his pace, his heavy black boots leaving behind a trail in the light pure snow as he reached the pavement. . . Mark smiled again, his eagerness clear by the spring of his step. A melodic whistle left his lips -- a sound almost magical as it played in the air -- the clock ticking down to Christmas Day. . .As he walked through the quiet neighbourhood, the wind began to pick up and the snow fell more rapidly. Darkness came down quicker and the dimly-lit houses nearby almost had a ghostly appearance. . .Mark did not notice these changes however, for a familiar house had just came into view. It was made up of sturdy rusty bricks, half a dozen windows laying in a pattern across it. Inside was a a warm soft glowing yellow, contrasting with the bright tacky lights blaring outside, shining out through the clear glass windows. The man smiled in anticipation, he knew his girlfriend had always been one for festivities. . .Growing more excited, he jogged over to the window. He was unsure what he planned on doing next but he was dying to see his family. . .'A Christmas miracle,' Mark though to himself, a grin curved onto his chattering lips as he continued to run towards the downstairs window. . .Keen on seeing his kid, Danny, and his girlfriend, Elise, the man peered inside through crinkled happy green eyes. . .Inside the room was a decorated Christmas tree, a few nearly wrapped present, a ca buries calendar and pieces of other ordinary furniture. It was a cosy room and packed with many things yet Mark's eyes were drew to the mantelpiece. Along it lay photographs of all different sizes: some of Danny, some of Mark and some of Elise. . .His eyes developed a glassy look as he saw the picture of Dannys' tenth birthday, realising how much he had missed. He swallowed but his good mood didn't cease; he had been dreaming about this day for so long. . .It had been his plan from when he first joined the army. When he left he would be ready, and the man never left those thoughts. He had bought it prior joining, and it never left the lining of his jacket. A silver gem laying behind his hand and the harsh fabric material. A ring of promise. Mark was ready now. . .He continued to look around till a frown creased his forehead. He seemed to be looking at the newer photos now, perched in the middle of the stone shelf, perhaps as though they were most important. There was one of Danny, one of Elise... And one of another man. . .Mark ran a hand through his hand, raking at the tips of his scalp. "Surely it's just a friend," he mumbled to himself, but his disbelief at his own statement was clear. "It can't be-" . .Through the living room door appeared a man and a women. They each held hands and had a bright grin on both their faces. Marks' faded. The couple laughed, the women - Elise - reaching up to peck the other man's cheek. A joyous scene... Which Mark was no longer part off. . .This was enough for Mark. He blinked as if he were in a trance, feeling slightly dazed as he backed away from the window. His eyes were wide and his skin was pale, an angry tear leaking from the depths of green. . .No family, no money, nowhere to live, the man though bitterly as he walked away from the house. It seemed surreal in a way. His love: gone. His child: gone. The only things her ever cared for stolen away from him. . .He walked quicker, a sense of despair and hysteria about him as he staggered into a park. It was empty, most children being tucked into their beds whilst dreaming of happy presents and perfect families, leaving the man to his own thoughts. . .Mark thought back to the army, a twisted smile crossing his face. He remembered what his best friend had done there when his wife died, and he knew he would do the same. . .Thoughts of family drifted through his mind, but Mark was too far gone. A wry chuckle escaped out of his mouth as the man walked towards a makeshift swing, his state almost drunken as the darkness crept in. . .Hidden by the dark, the man untied the rope from the rubber tire, letting it fall to the floor. His hands, charred with cuts and numb from cold, reached for the blue rope. He ran his finger tips along the rough material, a worn smile appearing across his lips for the final time. . .Minutes later a noose was formed. . .Mark bit down on his lower lip, looking at the rope for a moment. He shook his head before gradually walking over to the swings. He swallowed, glancing around the desolate park before clambering onto the seat. A tear clung to his skin as he shakily tied the rope to the top of the bar, the necklace of rope dropping down. . .He thought about Elise, wiping away the few tears displaying on his face. His thoughts drifted to Danny, and the day out the destroyed family had had before he left. Would things have been different if he had stayed? color=white]. .[/color]Mark shook his head, wearily sighing before he mumbled his final words. "I loved you. Merry Christmas." . .A single step. . .His head dropped down just as the bells chimed out for Christmas Day. . . Crack. "When I gave you my heart, You ripped it apart Like wrapping paper trash So I wrote you a song, Hope that you sing along And it goes, "Merry Christmas, kiss my ass!" ---- To be honest I don't really like this, but I've wrote it now so yeah. xD
That... is beautiful! ? I might be posting one soon but i don't know what to write about yet. maybe, Christmas in the future...
