I'd consider it almost midnight any time after 11:00 PM. It's too late to do anything around here. I would also call 12:00 PM late and 1:00 PM early.
The real question here is. When you consider it to be night time? When it turns dark outside? But in the winter its dark at 4pm. You can't say its 4 at night . 7 at night? Why is it most commonly said 12:30 at night when its actually morning? TIME IS SO FUCKING COMPLICATED!!!!!!
