A few ideas here and there can be helpful but when everyone is coming up with their own little stupid idea as their claim to fame it just doesn't work. I get it, you have an idea that you think is cool. Maybe run it by some friends but making a thread for each and every idea that comes into your brain is absurd. Take a moment and think about it. If your idea is sooooo good, why doesn't it already exist? Like the guy who wanted a relief fund for the tornado, it would be his claim to fame. He would walk up to people and tell them story of how he started a charity for a disaster. Maybe your ideas aren't meant to help pimd and make it better maybe they are to make you known for being the originator.
just because an idea hasn't already been thought about doesn't mean it's a bad idea. if that was the case there wouldn't be any new inventions. what isn't important to you is indeed important to someone somewhere. who are you to discredit someone's idea because you don't like it or agree with it? Are ideas supported when they come from a certain group of individuals?
I was specifically talking about pimd ideas. If you don't know the difference between an idea and an invention I will gladly tell you, an idea is something thought up, it can be anything. An invention is a product, a new product something that used to be an idea but was acted upon to create an invention. The simple fact remains that players don't get a say in how the game is played because they don't get to invent anything. All of their ideas remain ideas unless the developers decide to act on it. Which is why making a thread is worthless, if an idea is great then send to somewhere so it can be created. No player on any thread has the ability to turn an idea into reality.
I'm pretty sure if an idea is good enough, shared on a forum and the developers liked it that much they'd act up on it. No point keeping ideas to yourself or nothing new would happen. Maybe the majority aren't even thought about but some are. But you are entitled to your moan.
