Lights out, curtains drawn, get into bed, Calm the thoughts always running through your head, Drift into brief unconsciousness, only to wake, With the sun's greeting, with the darkness it takes, Rest your eyes, shut them tight, Open them come morning light, While no more can I wish you sweet dreams, While I never caused your eyes to cry streams, I watch from above as you slumber in peace, If you remember me, so young when my life did cease, Faint memories that will fade with the light, I only watch you late into the night, In your dreams please think of me, As that's where I will stay, and always be.
This may sound odd, but does anybody have any requests? I find it much easier to write poetry in a set style or about a certain subject.
I have a good one i think The moon is pale The trees are silent The bread is getting stale My dad is getting violent As i stare into the pond I see my reflection Like a magical wand It all turns into perfection The wind is blowing I barely feel it on my face I can sense my mind is going Keep up with my pace What happened to the would have been What happened to what could have been? What happened to what should have been? You hurt me You vile human being They cant see What domestic violence does yes i ran out of things so yep thats it
Meh. All this heavy, sad stuff isn't my cup of tea, but to each their own. Keep on doing what you enjoy.
