  1. "Your trapped in your net of lies. It's so thick it covers your whole. You can't breathe. Your not dying but you can feel the pain, you struggle. Trapped in a corner by ravenous beasts you know they won't come further. No, they will make you fear them. Ignorance is no longer bliss but rather a crime for you do not know so you will not survive. "
She trembled in her skirts, the chilly September wind blew relentlessly. She felt trapped. She had nowhere to run, and nowhere to go. The voices always followed. She turned towards the setting sun, it's light setting the sky ablaze. She wished for warmth but it would not, never come. She stood on a sidewalk leading in two opposite directions. One led much deeper into the park the other back out into the bustle of the city. She turned left. Her knees shook, her hands in fists, the cold creeping up on her much stronger now. As she neared the gates she could feel the sidewalk grow longer. She could see the gate move away. She felt dizzying pain but she kept moving. She was in a dark place. She wanted out. She wanted to feel warmth again. To see the rising sun.
But clearly, she knew not where she was going and clearly she would never. She had to survive the night. It was one single night, and if she could do this, then she could find the light.
Cars roared by, people shoved their way through her. Not noticing her presence or the lost helpless look in her eyes. Her attempts to cross the road were fails. She would be run over if she were to try. That was how it always went. She went left. The sidewalk was packed with the busy people of the city making their commute home but no one noticed that lost helpless girl wander in a daze. She moved straight and never turned. She reached this place. It was frightening. She was alone but she felt she had been here before.
The sun was almost completely gone. The fire in the sky had died. She walked aimlessly around the perimeter of the building, counting her steps, staring at the sun, just barely seeing it as it disappeared behind the horizon.
A door is thrown open. The abandoned building to her left seems to almost shift in the wind. With it's crumbling foundation, caution tape is hung all around it, decorating boarded windows. Something entices her to move forward, and to enter the building. She can feel this tug at her heart. It's pleading, begging, for her to go in. She follows this strange tug and as the old rotten floorboards creak and bend under her weight, she panics. She runs up a flight of stairs and down the hall on her left. She makes a quick turn into a room. There in the mirror is nothing at all. Thin air and nothingness. No life, no breath, no person. Death hangs in the air swinging back and forth like a seductress calling in her prey. She turns left and she is trapped. She's trapped in a net of lies. It's so thick it covers her whole. She can't breathe, she's not dying, but she can feel the pain, she struggles. She is trapped in a corner, by death. She will not come closer. She will not be so merciful. No, she will taunt her, tease her, make her beg for a light but only darkness will come. She was ignorant, she knew not how to survive. She is trapped in death's eternal games.
