Finally, unbanned. Worst 24 hours of my life. Anyways, While I was banned I decided to go troll some rp clubs. ? If I couldn't be happy, no one could. So my friend James and I just went from club, to stupid club full of underaged children entertaining themselves by talking to older men and other underaged children. So, after a few club I came upon a certain rp club. I expected it to be just like every other rp club, irritating. Once I was accepted and looked in cc I was shocked. The club was actually having an intelligent conversation. I know what you're thinking, "Liar... " but I'm not. They weren't rping either. They were just talking about common pimd issues. So after a few minutes of watching them talk I decided to talk in cc. They were all welcoming and just invited me into the convo. So for about two good hours we all just talked. No one rp'd and the cc almost never died. After we were all done ranting it turns out that most of these players are older players than I am, and I'm a pretty damn old player. Well my point is, my view of all rp clubs has been forever changed. Instead of automatically judging and labeling rpers you should get to know them. They might actually be a good person. (I, personally, don't role play and I don't care to. Just making that clear.) All I'm saying is we're all so quick to judge others and label them. "Oh, he rps? He must be an underaged, thirsty piece of shit with nothing better to do." When he might be the most interesting person on this game. Or "He asks for DVs on campus, he must be a beggar." When in all reality he works hard for his stats. Now I'm not going to say I don't judge people by their cover, because I do. It's just natural, but I shouldn't because I don't know that persons story. No one knows what a person is really like until you get to know them. That's all, I've spoken my mind.
I'm with you Britt. I used to judge just like you and I should'nt have. People seem to judge by what they see, not by what really is.
I'm not saying all rp clubs are full of awful dirty rp but I'm sure most are And the majority of beggers asking for hires and dvs belong to rp clubs
And for those who will most likely miss the message in this thread, this isn't just for rp clubs. It's everyone. People are so quick to judge each other without really getting to know each other. You see a BC and think, "Oh, well he's probably a dick." You see a person asking for a new pup and you think, "Well he's probably a horrible tut."
No I haven't, that's why I'm not saying all rp clubs aren't horrible. But I'm not saying they are either, because I don't know. I haven't been to all of them to know that. But you just came off first hand and called them the peasants of pimd, which isn't always the case.
aren't you judging us by saying "people are so quick to judge others" because Im sure Im not quick enough to judge someone.
So when you see someone on campus you don't automatically think, "Thirsty." Because I'm pretty sure you do. Everyone has judged by their cover at least once in their life (probably), but if you haven't amazing. That's great. Then this thread doesn't apply to you.
Anyways, my mistake. You're right. I shouldn't have assumed everyone judges others by their covers. So let my change that. Most people judge by other people's covers *
I don't really look at campus, I post to sell tutors and to ask for club, I don't scroll it up and down to see whose posting what and why, I don't care what people do with their game time. So nope "thirsty" doesn't cross my mind. Anyways deuces ️
I agree with the banned part And yes, it seems like a lot of people think that all roleplayers are thirsty. But there are roleplayers that would never do dirty roleplay and are decent people.
