This actually works on me and i get 1 ec to unload on first job The New Party job, although all of jobs hv 2% chance of drop rate and 0.01% chance of getting a drop of dn's so in unloading u hv 32x to hit from full to 0%energy by that u gotta be more patient coz the drop rate is only 2% by 100 attempts u have a chance to get 2-3 ec's so if u want to hunt u gotta be more active and hunt ec's hour by hour. Thats the best way to earn ec cash, lets just say u unload first job hour by hour and for 2 days 1,500 attempts u will earn actually up to 20-25 ecs but it depends on how patient u are and also on how active u are. hHope this helps a little coz its just a little advice on ec hunting. Or you could hit a job 10 times and get 9 ecs, it's just the probability Each time you hit a job there is an independent 2% chance that you will get an ec, if you want to know how many ecs you will probably get learn some probability I'm too lazy to find my old school notes to figure out exactly how many you'll have but if you use the formula Probability=(0.02)^m * (0.98)^n-m You'll have the probability of m ecs after hitting n times
Whoops mistake in my math Probability of m successes is actually with n trials nCm*(0.02)^m *(0.98)^n So if you wanted the probability of getting 1ec after 50 hits you would put in your calculator 50C1*(0.02)^1 *(0.98)^49 Which is 0.37 or 37%
The 2% chance is per hit on a job.. So every single 'hit' you do on a job has a 2% chance of giving you EC... You can hit a thousand times and not get an EC.......
Yes, this line of thinking actually has a name, it's called the Gamblers Fallacy (I'm not a spelling champion). Think about the 2% chance for ec like a roulette wheel. You have a 47.37% chance to hit red or black. This doesn't mean that if no red is hit after 50 tries that it will now hit 47 out of the next 50. Casinos would never make money. Your odds never change. Apply this back to the jobs ec % now. You can hit 98 times and get nothing. That doesn't mean you are guaranteed to get ec the next 2 hits. You still have a 2% chance on hit 99 as well as hit 100. Oh the Gamblers Fallacy.
