As some of my friends here may know, simply love food and love cooking. From an easy day to day meal to a 4 course dinner for friends So I was thinking. I can't be the only one in this community who has a passion for food and cooking. And what is better then a worldwide platform to exchange our favourite recipes When posting it doesn't matter if you use lbs or grams. The real foodie knows how to convert also add cooking times and temperatures if applicable. I hope this thread will inspire a lot of people And get cooking!!!
1 package of breakfast sausage (Bob Evans, Tennessee pride) 2 bricks of cream cheese and a can of rotel
Sundae? scoop some icecream whip whipped cream all over it and put a cherry one top. Then add caramel and chocolate syrup and BOOM! Your done!
I just made this awesome sugarfree carrot bananabread with cranberries and chocolate. Ingredients: 100 grams of sliced carrots 1 ripe banana 180 grams of self rising flour 2 eggs 1/3 cup of milk A handful of dried cranberries 50 grams of dark (70%) chocolate 115 grams of melted butter or 1/3 cup of rice oil Pre heat the oven at 180degrees C /356 F Mix the carrots, banana's, cranberries, melted butter, eggs and chopped chocolate in a bowl. Or kitchen machine. Slowly add the flour and the milk. Grease a cake pan with a little oil or butter. Pour the mixture in and place in the pre heated oven. Let it bake for 50-55mins. Insert a skewer, if it comes out clean the cake is cooked all the way through Remove from oven. Let it cool for 5mins in the cake pan before turning out onto the wire rack to cool You can glaze or frost it the way you like ?
Spinwheels! It's really yummy and the children I babysit love it! You get a pound or so of hamburger meat, fry it into little pieces in a pan on the stove. Get out a large bowl, put a pound or so of cream cheese in the bowl and pour the meat in it. Stir it up and then take out some crescent rolls. Get some of the meat and cream cheese and spread it on the rolls, roll them up however you'd like and put them in the oven. I put them in there for 13-15 minutes on 450. After that take them out and let them cool.
Fantastic thread Keik want to try out some stuff already. I'm not great in the kitchen, mainly as my flatmate is a chef so I let him cook away but I do enjoy baking. I dont seem to mess it up the way I would a dinner. Lol I'll post my pavlova recipe when I can. Its the best ;-)
my spelling is awful. Sorry hun, meant Kiek ;-) it is yummy. I'll type it on the computer then paste it here. Easier than using tiny keypad lol
