I'm just writing this to let everyone know about the-best-boyfriend-ever and the lies that he's telling everyone. Yesterday, during my wedding party, he told everyone in CC that he got called to go to war. He made a big scene and pretty much ruined the party for everyone. Turns out, he's only 16! He can't go to war yet! And I'm going to copy paste what he told me here. well first to make it clear im only going in pimd not in person yet and because last time i went over i got a scar See what I mean? He even admitted he wasn't going in real life. I have the screen shots so if you don't believe me you can PM me. I don't understand why he would lie about that. I know I've told some pretty big lies but I would never lie about something as serious as being on the battlefield where I've lost family members. That's what pisses me off the most: men are dying for this country and he thinks it's funny to lie about it?? Shameful.
If you would read you'll see that I said the only reason it's pissing me off is because people do actually go to war and die. And it's nothing to joke about
What if he wasn't lying? In some countries, the legal age to go to war is 16. Although the war in Afghanistan is coming to an end very soon anyway.
People who lie about things like that just want attention. Yes I agree it's not cool to lie about deployment, however I don't think it's necessary to make a thread over it. I think most people could care less about this guy, and you're giving him exactly what he wants. Attention!

In the UK the legal age you can become a soldier is 16 onwards however under 18 requires parental consent.
