  1. On September 11 2001,
All of our worries had just begun.
Just yesterday those buildings were there. but we took them all in vain, now all those lives are lost and we live with all the pain. With tears in our eyes we do what we can, to find justice for each woman child and man. We lost many things we took for granted, but if we didn't would they still have done it?
    How could they?
    Why did they?
These questions fill our minds, but only one thing is for certain this is a lesson for all mankind. As we watched the news in terror we hear the voices calling, we see our whole lives in those buildings as they are falling, falling, falling.

God Bless all affected. R.I.P Pop Pop

  10. I have watched the freedom tower shoot right up into the sky. Its Cathartic to see it standing tall in defiance to the chaos. That is probably the most solid building ever created.

  11. Beautiful poem Rome. It was definitely a horrific day, that to all impacted or old enough to understand, we were mortified by the events and will never forget. I'm sorry for your loss. RIP for all those lost. 

  13. I had just started my career and my family. I was 22 years old. My phone rang and I was told to turn on the t.v., I asked what channel? They said it didn't matter.....I sat and watched in horror, then outright primal anger at what had been done. I went to work later on that afternoon, convinced that the next day, I'd re-enlist. I wanted to be the U.S. Cav Scout that located that (no words can describe) position. I got home from work before midnight that same day, unsure how to break the news that I was going back to the Army... When my newborn son started crying.... It was THE hardest choice I ever had to make....go get the guy responsible or be a father.......

I chose to be a father, because, like my father, he was always there for me. It was the hardest choice I've ever had to make. Sometimes I regret what I did, other times I'm glad. I've lost friends over there and the guilt of.....if I was there.....could I have saved them will forever haunt me.,..but I look at my new teenager....and I'm ashamed, but glad that I stayed home. He's an exceptionally good kid, with a bright future ahead of him.

I've realized that I made the right choice. And I'm proud of my choices. That being said....IF YOU AIN'T CAV....................

  16. LoL feel sorry for the 2000 people who died and the millions of people that American killed in Middle East and Afghanistan. Shame on America. 9/11 was an inside Job made by the government itself

  17. How bout not bumping a thread to say Americans attacked theirselves that's complete and utter bullcrap.
