I hate to admit it, but since I moved my health is getting very bad. I have huge panic attacks that cause me to have a very little appetite, if I even want to eat. The fact that I don't eat a lot brings even more stress, because I have that bad habit to over think and scare myself with thoughts that I will get really weak and starve to death. Also, my bedroom is hotter than the sun, so I open my window and since it's cold outside, I've got a flu. It isn't good for my asthma. I decided to work out at the gym and I injured myself. And finally, I miss my parents a lot, and it causes me to feel a little depressed. I know I'll get comments like "I don't care" and things like that. But my goal with this thread is not to have you all worried and caring, I just want to let this out and take some weight off my conscience, and maybe get some advices if you guys have any. Thanks.
I know, but advices from many people can be better than just one. I absolutely enjoy your support, but I won't neglect any potential source of help.
My advice is to look at your problems from a realistic point of reference, and realistically focus on fixing them. For example, you can work on lessening the stress by taking walks, making more of an effort to look good and gain confidence, even to look at what you will gain through hard work. Working on your diet is easy. Just eat healthy foods and eat them consistently to keep your metabolism up, which in turn will give you more energy.
You can PM me and I can help. I've dealt with depression and stress. You will come to realize that stress is good to keep you motivated.
I just take one bite and I want to puke. But I try to eat thing that are good and filled with proteins and glucose for energy and to be full.
Broski, broski, don't worry about stress, worrying about being stressed gets you stressed. Remember YOLO!
Pope I would advise seeing someone about it I mean yeah we can give you advice buddy, but not like a professional could you are probably extremely home sick and it's causing you to make yourself depressed and sick. I highly recommend going and seeing a consular maybe they could help more. Please keep me posted on how you are doing. Get well soon.
If you have asthma and the flu, you should see a doctor as soon as possible to get a prescription for a steriod so you don't develop bronchitis or pneumonia. Get plenty of rest and try to stay busy and keep your mind occupied. Sometimes alone time can be emotionally dangerous, so try to surround yourself with friends. And Spitfire had great advice, going for walks can be wonderful way to relieve stress. Good luck!
Why does everyone turn to a specialist at the first sign of trouble? Sounds like a bad week. Just hang in there. You'll be fine.
Because people think of bad scenarios. What if he doesn't have the flu, and actually has broncitus, and then pukes up blood? Kidding of course, but it has a small chance of happening, but hell, everything has a chance.
Steroids wouldn't cause him to puke up blood... they give asthmatics steriods to reduce the inflammation in their lungs so they can breathe and get better.
Mrs_imagine you are correct on that but I'm saying he needs to see a consular to help with the depression problem because depression can be horrible and cause you to do very stupid things.
