  1. Writing Class 101: Introduction

    Hola FanFictioners! 

I am Professor Eli— weeeeeeeeeird — and I am here to teach y'all about grammar, punctuation, and... well, common mistakes.

    Before you judge me...

    I KNOW. I KNOW.

I had a lot of mistakes in the past and so with the present; and by teaching all of you guys, it will help me too.

I am not all great at grammar and all, but I sure know it... Just not an expert. So I'll try to help you new writers as much as I can.

I will cover up the clichés, the introduction of your stories, and what else I find that kind of pisses me off.

I will not be nice, just for you to know.

I will be fun, strict, and a jerk of a teacher. 

Anyway, please do comment below on what you want as our first topic! 

    Ciao! x

  2. I see CENTER does not work...

    I'm gonna go cry now.

  3. I think for your first topic you should do starting a story: thinking of an idea, planning, etc etc etc.

  4. I like this idea 

  5. Lesson One: Planning, Brainstorming, etc.

Welcome to our very first class, my amazing students! 

I am Professor Eli, if you haven't noticed.

And I am here to teach you all our very first lesson!

PLANNING, BRAINSTORMING (which is practically the same thing), AND ETC.

Well, if you guys don't get that at all~ then SIMPLE!

HOW TO START YOUR STORY!  Understand?

    No?

    No? 

    Still a no...?

    Oh well, moving on...

I will divide this lesson into parts— so here I go:

    Part Uno

    • Ideas

First of all you amazing writers~ IDEAS are obviously important! Because how can you actually form a story without any ideas?

    Anyway...

Make sure that your ideas are constant, creative, and entertaining. Stick to one plot, and don't add up some BS. It gets boring, honestly.

In the ideas, make sure you have created your...

TITLE - Please do capitalise every first letter of the word, except for articles— if you humans don't know what articles are... is... whatever... then why are you even writing?!

    PLOT - So fucking important.

CHARACTERS - Please not that all characters can't be PERFECT. Rich, beautiful, skinny, and all that. Ugh. Originality people!

I guess that's really it for the ideas.

But please also note that you have to be very careful on what you write.

    ADD DETAILS, HUMANS!

DON'T BE ALL CONVERSATIONAL AND STUFF.

DON'T ADD TOO MUCH DETAILS, JUST ENOUGH. GEEEE. WE'RE NOT GONNA MAKE A MOVIE IF YOU WANT TOO MUCH DETAILS... for example:

I walked slowly, my heels clattering on the floor, but then I hit my beautiful pink toe that was recently cleaned, on the table that is made of oak, and imported from Japan. It has a very rough feature, and the stand has a very sharp Thingy. It's all dark brown, and it's very small— like a table. It has black features too, surrounding the table. It looks like a coffee table for what I know. I remember my mum bought it in a very fancy store that it cost £500,00.00. So it's very important. It's an antique, I guess.

OKAY... I DON'T REALLY KNOW WHAT I JUST WROTE! BUUUUT, LOOOOOL. I MEAN— IF YOU DO THAT THEN YOU'RE TALKING ABOUT THE TABLE THAT'S LOOKING PRETTY MUCH IMPORTANTE IN YOUR STORY.

So avoid too much details, and avoid no details at all.

Make it MODERATELY DETAILED, BUT PERFECTLY UNDERSTANDABLE.

    Part Dos

    To be continued...

  6. The stand has a very sharp thingy. But bravo, Eli, bravo!

  7. At least it's imported from Japan. 

I like this thread very much. This thread is needed in FF.

  8.  I don't know what else to describe it. I was running out of words, and in case (lol) you've noticed, I made it... weirdly ungrammatically redundant. o_O

Tash, hahaha!  First country that popped up into my mind. Haha! I'll try my best.

I think I'll cover up the introduction to stories next 

  9. Oi update incase

  10. Lamest guide ever,

  11. ^and I've seen a load of lame ones

  12. This isn't a guide. It's a class. Can't you read? "Writing Class 101".

  13. SpitFire, you're usually in Off Topic, why are you here now? And besides totally not a guide, if you're not a writer then you wouldn't understand.

  14. ^^^ No one in fan fiction really tries to make a guide that can be stickied. It's not really our thing.

  15. Still lame

  16. "A VERY SHARP THINGY"

  17. I'm making this for entertainment.  I'm not trying to make an AMAZING GUIDE or whatever.

    Anywaaaaay~ I'ma update soon 

  18. I liked this idea, why is it not updated? 
