Ok, I just gotta say... "Public forums" goes both ways. It doesn't make sense to tell someone not to post a thread, then smugly announce "public forums" when they tell you you don't have to comment. It's not a catch 22, either it's public and anyone can post anything (within ToU/RoC and at mods/devs discretion) or it's not. Just my 2¢.
How is that hypocritical? So it's ok for him to tell not to post something. Then say he can post whatever he likes. But if I dare question it I'm a hypocrite? See a flaw?
