Hello, and welcome to… Fan Fiction Reviews! So, today I was perusing fan fiction when I realized. We don't have a fan fiction review thread! Why it's important: First off, the most obvious reason. Everyone wants to know how good their story is. But there are other ones. Getting a reader's honest opinion can be extremely helpful. I've seen awful stories that only have comments like, "Amazing!" "You're such a good writer!" or even, "You should publish a book!" No. Those comments might not hurt someone's self-esteem, but it'll hurt their writing in the long run. The truth is always better. Also. Nobody's writing is perfect. Everyone needs to improve, and I'll give advice to every story, no matter how good it is. You don't have to take it. But I think my advice isn't half-bad, if I do say so myself. And lastly, this will help people if they want to read a story but don't know which one. I will be writing the genre and links and whatnot (more on that later) so fan fictioners can easily find a story that is right for them. Are you convinced that this is a good idea yet? Good. Now let's get to the details… How it works: Since I just made this, I'll probably start off asking people if I can review their story.But as this grows more popular, people may ask me to review their story. I may even have to recruit another person or two. Each review will consist of the following (in order) : the title, the author's username, the genre, a summary, my rating, my thoughts (which will most likely be stuff I liked) , advice, any additional side notes, and a link. NOTE: All of this will be in my opinion. If the genre I put it in or the summary I write isn't what you were shooting for, then sucks to suck. Just kidding. That'll just be how a reader views it. It's a different perspective. ?After each post, which will consist of three reviews (Give or take. I might have some slow days and I might have some busy days) I will have some filler stuff. Not like Hexin's FFN (man I miss that) which is humorous ads and such, but things like polls. Random thoughts. Maybe even an interview or two. That stuff is still in the works. ?I'll try to post every day, but with school starting soon and everything I might be too busy. I may have to update every other day, or even every three days. Not sure yet. And finally, I may add roleplay reviews. Those are harder to do but if enough people want it I will. Peer pressure! Disclaimer: I am going to be perfectly honest about every story. Nothing will be sugarcoated. Yes, this means that on my reviews I may be meaner than when I usually comment on stories. Yes, this means that I may act like a bitch. But not without reason. I'll be telling the truth how I see it. I apologize to my friends and everyone else ahead of times if I hurt your feelings. I'm not going to try to be mean. It just might happen if your story is bad… That's why I'm asking people. If you agree to me reviewing/ask me to review your story, you automatically agree to the Terms and Conditions. Ugh yes. Please stick with it. I'm sick of these threads coming up and then dying. That and most reviewers suck, and lately we've had lots of stories so tons of work to be done.
