※〜※〜※ Leirra Golden sunlight filtered through the dense canopy of leaves, making everything appear gilded. It created a mottled pattern upon the sleeping girl below, highlighting her ripped party clothes, her smudged makeup, her tangled hair, and her unusually pale face. Leirra woke up with a start. She had a splitting headache, and her mouth felt dry. Like a hangover. But she barely drank any beer. "Oh my god," Leirra gasped. She had studied botany, how to recognize poisonous plants, and the symptoms were of one of the more lethal ones. Something did seem off about her beer last night… She normally would have recognized the killing taste, but her claustrophobia had distracted her just enough. If Leirra had taken just one sip more she would've gotten a lot worse than a mere headache. "Yo dude, sick party last night!" The last of the partiers straggled out of the house, waving to a muscular man leaning against the doorway. No doubt he was the boyfriend of the hostess. Leirra glanced at her phone. If she hurried, she could make it to class on time. Or she could stay and ask about Terrence the bartender. The information would be vital to avoiding him. She stood in the forest for a moment, debating, but quickly decided her life was more important than her education. Her teacher wouldn't care about just one day. Taking a deep breath, Leirra marched to the house and knocked on the door. It immediately swung open. It was Terrence. She choked on a breath but he didn't notice as he started talking. "Dan, I told you alrea-" he faltered mid-sentence, looking shocked and horrified. "Leirra?" He's probably surprised I'm not dead, Leirra realized. "Oh, uh, Terrence! Fancy meeting you here," she tittered. "Well, I think I have the wrong house so I'll just be goin-" "Let's talk inside," he suggested. "Oh, no thanks, I'm just going to go." Her voice sounded shrill with fright. He gestured behind him and she saw a glint of silver. Terrence was holding a butcher knife. "Come on, I can help give you directions." "That's not needed, really, I-" He grabbed her arm, shut the door and all but dragged Leirra into a room. His free hand still wielded the knife. She watched with dread as he shoved her down, closed and locked the bedroom door, and shut the blinds. At last he turned to her. "Now, where were we?" ※〜※〜※ Sorry if it's bad. :3 I didn't proofread.

Zoe ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Zoe tapped her pencil repeatedly on her desk, obviously annoyed. The teacher wouldn't shut up over some stupid lecture about safely and what not. "And we been having issues with firing guns on campus," Zoe sat up and actually started to listen. "Due to that. We are going to have to have a search of everyone's dorms." Everyone sighed, but didn't complain. "Good. Now you all are dismissed." ***** Zoe wondered around the hall, wondering where Leirra had gone. Zoe leaned against the wall, thinking about where she could be. "She's probably hugging some tree or something." Zoe said to herself. Then she got the idea. I'll just call her, Zoe reached into her back pocket. Her eyes widen. Her phone wasn't there. She looked around where she was standing. "What the hell.. I just had it.. Right?" Zoe bit her lip as she remember she had left it in her locker. ****** She walked to her locker, and opened it. It wasn't there. Only a crumbled note. She unfolded it. It said:
