Chapter Three


"You should eat more, Rhyan," Nathan commented as we sat down on the lunch table that was practically on the centre of the cafeteria— which obviously was the populars' table. I was so self-conscious about sitting with the Russians— what they call Nathan's group o' friends. I was internally sweating from the nervousness I was feeling.


Jade just sat beside me without a word. I could remember how they practically stuck to us the whole four periods. I was a bit freaked out, and pleased... since I was hanging out with four amazing hot Russian men, and only one is taken; and five hot Russian women, that only two is taken. It was sizzling wherever we went.


They weren't all pure Russians though, they were mixed with other bloods. So all in all Jade and I met:


Nathan Kulkov— Unknown if he's single or not since he's really overprotective of Eli, and got jealous when Aleksander kissed her.


Elizaveta Carlisle— Friends with benefits with Aleksander? In a relationship with Nathan? Please no...


Aleksander Collins— FWB with Eli?


Izabella Dementyev

 

and Isidor Dementyev — Identical twins who are both single.


Klara Chandler— In a relationship Anton Hemsworth; best friends with Izabella.


Anton Hemsworth— In a relationship with Klara; Aleksander's best friend.


Sofia Evans— In a relationship with someone from the soccer team, whose name is is Tyson; and she's Eli's somewhat best friend?


Elvira Lachowski— Cousins with Francisco Lachowski~ I know! Amazing! She's best friends with Isidor.


So all of those people are mixed with Russian bloods— and they're popular... And Jade and I had no idea why they invited us to sit with them. Is this common courtesy for newcomers?


We all met the others when first period was almost done. They were all in the same classes and it was weird. Do they do the same thing?


"Err, I'm fine with this..." I looked down on my tray and there lay a peanut butter and jelly sandwich, with just water. Okay honestly, I really was fine with it. I even lived not eating for the whole day as a punishment from my father.


I cringed at the thought of being locked up. I hated it.


"It's not healthy, Rhyan. That's why you're skinny— not that skinny... But you get me." He ran his fingers down his black hair worriedly. Wooooo, turn on.


I shut my eyes, trying to think of something disgusting.


Grandma panties... Grandma panties...


So close. I smiled at myself.


"And you too, Jade— eat some more, will you?" Eli sighed as she practically shove her Subway on Jade's tray.


Jade blushed and gave it back to her, but Eli wouldn't budge. She kept shoving it back to Jade, until she caved in and took it from her, while Eli showed a huge, satisfying, gorgeous smile.


"W-we're not really used to... Huge meals," I confessed, feeling blood creep up on my cheeks.


"Huge?! Two sandwiches is barely huge, cookie," Izabella snorted, looking at me with her soft icy blue eyes.


"We're not exactly... rich," Jade said silently, but enough to let them hear her sweet, melodic voice.


Now that was a lie from Jade. She's rich, alright... But I know she just said that because of what's been happening at her house. As for me, I'm pretty much in an average home.


I decided to go on with her, since we had no intention of telling anyone about what our situation at home was. "And... We barely get to eat."


Elvira suddenly sobbed and looked at us in sympathy. "Oh my golly. Poor you," she sniffed and then pulled Jade and I into a hug.


"You better get used to it then... Because we don't want anyone in this table to get sick because of small intake of food. You're gonna be here everyday, so we can take care of the food," Eli said and then smiled, while the others agreed. I caught Nathan looking at me and I blushed, and I don't know if it's true, but I think I caught Nathan's cheeks reddened too. That made me feel... a bit mighty.


Wait... Wait... Back up.


Everyday?


Sitting with the most gorgeous humans in Evergreen High?


Am I being punked here?!


Oh, damn.


I turned to Jade, and I saw that she had the same expression as mine.


I leaned into her and asked, "Are they practically... Implying... That we are going to sit with them for the rest of the school year?" I seethed.


"Yes," she sneered, also not fond of the idea.


I backed away and frowned a little.


We didn't want attention...


But why are we still getting it?


I got lost in my thoughts until I hear Sofia clear her throat. "So... Are you and Jade together?" She asked curiously... Earning the rest of the Russians' attention towards us.


Jade looks at me, amusement gleaming in her eyes. I smirked and then she nodded. We didn't want to hide our sexuality, and if they don't like it, then so be it.


"Gross," Jade says playfully. "Boys... are not my thing." She laughed and made a gagging sound.


"Ouch Jade, you sure know how to hurt my feelings. Well, I find you attractive and all," I wink at her. "But, I like boys more than girls." We both laugh, and then I notice a certain emotion in Nathan's eyes, and so with Eli's. Weird, much?


"So you guys are gay generally?" Aleksander asked.


I nodded and sighed. "We can go now, if you want."


Eli gasped. "No! No!"


"It's okay, love. We're pretty open minded in this school— but the freshmen are still gonna have to get used to the fact that this school has a 'no judging' system. Eli here's gay too." Klara chirps.


"And don't forget Nathan." Isidor smiled.


"Huh?" Jade raised her brows.


"I'm gay," Nathan said proudly, causing my heart to beat erratically against my chest.


"Do you have a boyfriend?" Jade asked... While eyeing at me. Way to make it natural!


"Err, no— I just found out awhile ago that I'm... Gay." He smiled.


I just nodded, clearing my thoughts away. I was getting my hopes up and it pissed me off.


"Do you have a girlfriend, Jade?" Nathan asked as he eyed Eli as well. And then I came into realisation.


Oooooh.


Eli likes Jade.


How stupid of me to have not figured it out earlier.


Jade shook her head. "Rhy and I are SSB."


I chuckled as Elvira asked what SSB meant.


"It stands for Single Since Birth." I answer.


"So how did you guys find out?" Aleksander asked.


"It just happened, I guess."


"Since when have you known?" Isidor asked.


"I was in first grade when I had a crush on a girl... I understood it right then. While Rhyan here knew it when he was in middle school— but he's bisexual... So 's okay." Jade responded with a faint smile. She knew I wasn't comfortable being asked about questions like those. I don't know why though.


"Did you guys experiment?" Antonio asked.


"Nope." Jade and I answered in unison.


And then the rest of us were so absorbed on our "coming out" topic. But we lied when we said our parents and our school took it perfectly fine. Instead, it's actually the opposite.


Lunch passed by and I had my electives with Nathan. I felt my heart beating fast as he stood beside me. We said goodbyes to all of them, since only Nathan and I had the same 5th period.


We were walking through the empty hallway towards the auditorium which was really far away. I knew only a few took it, so it really was silent all the way there. And I was nervous as fuck.


I didn't look at Nathan at all, and that seemed to piss him off since I suddenly found myself pushed against the wall; my eyes wide at the sight of Nathan's annoyed face.


"What are you doing to me?" He seethed, yet his eyes were softly gazing unto mine. I felt lost.


I shook my head for I didn't know what to respond. But instead of asking me again, he did something I never thought would happen so soon!


I felt the warmth of soft lips on mine, as I burst out in complete utter happiness. His lips were soft, and kissable, making me kiss him back with all my might. I put the bottled feelings for him in that single kiss, and I found my self running my fingers down his hair, as my arms were wrapped around his neck, and his on my waist.


The kiss was long, and loving. It didn't have any tongues, or some intense passion. It was a very innocent kiss.


It was my first kiss.

 

 so many heart eyes.  I'm starting to write it. Gimme a few days.i have a competition tomorrow, a date on Saturday (w/ my GF! *squeal*), and a family reunion on Sunday... Boohoo. 
