For a one year old, I think it would be best to take her to store on her bday n let her pick out what she wants. Before I did this with my son, id just end up with a toy he wouldn't play with.
My son just had his 1st birthday in July and I got him a tunnel that can be put in the living room or outside when he gets older and he crawls through it... A small blow up pool, a batman 4-wheeler (he only sits on it and pushes it right now as he doesn't understand to push the button yet but he's getting there), some beach toys as we go to the beach during the summer... My mother bought him a popper . One of the toys when you walk, it pops... We of course got him clothes and little toys (trains, John deere trucks, etc). But I was also contemplating getting him a water table and/or a sandbox/table as those are very popular right now for his age. Good luck and many have said, she will enjoy the boxes or paper everything comes in. Everything BUT the actual gift. Congrats!! You're lil girl is almost 1
An iPhone so you two can play PIMD each other... Jk. Give her a party and observe her what she likes to do.
Got my son a little tykes 4 wheeler for his first birthday after about a week he had it down. Now he just turned three and still plays on it and his new big car we got him
Thanks for all the ideas, everybody. They are some great ones and now I think I know what Im going to be getting her, in addition to the clothes and bath toys. You can continue to post here about gift ideas. I'll probably check over the next couple of days to see if any new ideas have been posted, but I don't know if I will comment again. So, if I don't, thank you in advance!
My first post didn't summit -_-. Anyways, seams like some great ideas on this thread already, but do you know if she likes a particular animal/character/book? Maybe she'll like something from the Disney store or Wal-mart. Something educational as well, never too young for stimulating a child mind. Or a musical toy. Hope you find what you're looking for. Congratulation and good luck!
Spongebob is her favorite character. Somebody else suggested getting her a big stuffed Spongebob, but I got her one of those for Christmas. Lol He's really the only character she takes to. She likes Doc McStuffins and The Mickey Mouse Club House a bit, too.
Well if that's her favorite, can't wrong with Spongebob, lol. Spongebob books, plush toys, push/ride toys, ect. I'm sure her face will light up with joy. :')
Remember those old fisherprice toys we used to play with when we were little? the telephone, reccord player, farm, house, musical tv, etc. I found them at toys r us!!!!! they are making and selling them again!!
Her birthday party is going to be Spongebob-themed, too. Lol I think I saw a little Spongebob ride-on toy at WalMart recently that I thought she'd like. Thanks for the ideas.
No way. Ha I'm not even with my daughter's mom anymore and frankly, I don't want another child until Im finished with college and married,
Brothers are great. But you can't wrap them. Also, do not get her anything with sparkles on it. Clothes, fairy wings, that adorable innocent little Pegasus doll. You will never see the end of the sparkles.
Didn't u tell me on my wall someone about 10 year old daughter/son not too long ago? Or am I just trippin out
Zed you dumb little girl I agree with Jopo on the swing that hangs from a door frame my little niece never fell from hers it will only fall if you don't put it on right
