Decisions, decisions....

  1. So I'm getting closer to buying my next car (about 3 months) and I'm selling my 1993 Nissan Sentra.
    So I'm basically stuck between two cars.
    A 2007 Scion tC and a 2010 Ford Mustang.
    I know you might say the newest one is the better choice but keep in mind car insurance goes up the newer the car is, and since I'm just under 21 the insurance is pretty high. I'm paying around $150 a month for my damn 1993 piece of shit. But whatever. I can manage. So I need some opinions from some of you guys! I'll post some pics and some info from both and vote for your favorite car. Try to add a little summary of why you picked it and stuff.



    First car:


    2007 Scion tC

    Specs:
    •Average resale value: $10,684
    •Engine: 2.4L 161HP
    •MPG: 23 city, 31 hwy





    Second car:

    2010 Ford Mustang / GT

    Specs:
    •Average resale value: 21,164
    •Engine: 4.0L 210HP
    •MPG: 18 city, 26 hwy

    Now, for the Mustang, I've seen prices range from 15,000-20,000. So yeah.


    Which one would you prefer?

  7. both r pretty scion be cheaper insurance and gas but mustang is prettier and possibly more fun i pick mustang but im a ford guy

  9. I have a mustang, as well as a Cadillac. My hubby has always said he will only own and buy fords, so he barely will touch my caddy. For me, I get a few more miles with my Cadillac that I do our mustang. I can get around 24/28 MPG highway on a good day. If its very windy, I seem to only get around 20. With our mustang, I seem to only get 23/26 MPG. Of course a lot of things come into consideration, and I don't drive our mustang too much.

    It really all depends on what is best for you. We also have a ford expedition, and it completely sucks for gas when in busy cities. If you drive mostly highway, factor that in, but if you stick to cities and around a lot of construction with stop and on's focus on that more. It's different for everyone, so think about what is best for you.
