  1. I left forums at a time when roleplay ing was all anyone cared about and came back to see them dying. So here's my effort to keep roleplays around. This is based off of the SCP Foudation website's many articles and entries, which are awesome.
    --------------------------------
    Yesterday,

I watched three men die because one man sneezed in a room full of blood and shit and light.

    Today,

three more men go in, cheap mops and each other's lives in their hands.

    Yesterday,

I watched a man I admired gunned down for leaving a rose for a girl whose life was tattered by trauma she never deserved.

    Today,

she doesn't remember, and three halls down I can hear her screaming.

    Yesterday,

I watched a group of soldiers go down fighting against the corpses of comrades who'd died before them.

    Today,

we test another sample, this time on children.

    Yesterday,

I watched five men and women gunned down in an abandoned factory no one cares about.

    Today,

it happens again and again. Every eleven seconds. Forever.

    Yesterday,

I watched a man sit comfortably in a nice armchair, sipping scotch and laughing as he ordered a woman to simply stop breathing.

    Today,

he gets the day off of work detail for good behavior.

    Yesterday,

I watched hundreds of men and women in orange jumpsuits herded like animals into empty rooms that filled with gas and fire.

    Today,

hundreds more are told they have a chance for a lighter sentence, and a chance to serve their country.

    Yesterday,

I watched the world nearly die in a thousand thousand terrible ways. Sometimes we would have had time to scream.

    Today,

I'm alive to write about it. You want happy endings? Fuck you.

    You're alive to read it.

    God help us all.

  2. The SCP Foundation is dedicated to researching and containing anomalous objects or organisms that do not make physical sense. A vending machine that will dispense anything, a brain-dead man who somehow controls people's desires, an entirely indestructible cube made of an unknown metal.

Obviously, this is an extremely high-risk and traumatic job to have, whether you are a researcher, a security guard, or even a member of class-D, a section of personnel selected for low IQ and obedient personalities who are used to mop floors, or to test the reaction of a dangerous SCP to the presence of a human being.

  3. (Heeheehee good luck! :3 maybe i'll chime in as an adversary.)

  4. This is a roleplay set in an undisclosed SCP Foundation facility. You can choose to be a researcher, guard, janitor, or even an SCP.

    Rules:

No more than three characters per person.

Romance is allowed, but would realistically not be too common.

Detailed character sheets are a must, especially if you will be roleplaying as an actual SCP.

Try to treat things with realism if you can.

Characters must actually make sense. Basically, no perfect people.

    Here's the skelly:

    Name: [If any]
    Age: [If any]
    Occupation:
    Appearance: [Picture or written]
    Containment Procedures: [If SCP]
    Any other important information:

  5. (thanks, Laiana!)

  6. Name: Sarah Schneider
    Age: 32
    Occupation: Researcher
    Appearance: [IMG]
    Containment Procedures: None
Other Info: Sarah is often a little cold, but can have a playful streak when testing out the properties of less dangerous SCPs. She worries that her husband and to year old daughter at home will be affected by her job-- all they know is that she is a biologist. She almost never shows compassion for SCPs, even if they are suffering or are small children. She believes that desling with them is best done in an unemotional manner, as forming boss with an anomalous occurrence could quickly become an issue.

  7. name: sylar (gabrial gray)

  8. does not know he is just a cheap nock off with no power but still looks for an strives for more and will do anything to get it.

Back story: one night a janitor thought "hay wouldn't it be fun to type in the name of his favorite actor off heroes" he couldn't be more wrong.

  9. (My favorite episode it where he writes in blood on the wall, "i am sylar" becuz he has shape shifting powers and he starts to forget who he is as if the to many powers r changing him)

  10. Age: early 30's

  11. Heres the wiki definition: Gabriel Gray a.k.a. Sylar (which he adopted from the name on his watch) is a former timepiece restorer who always desired to be special instead of "ordinary". Chandra Suresh came to him, identified him as "Patient Zero" in his research and revealed the existence of evolved humans to him. Discovering his ability of intuitive aptitude, he realized he could figure out how abilities worked and how to gain more. Sylar became a serial killer, targeting other evolved humans to steal their brains and gain their abilities. Sylar was driven by an uncontrollable "hunger" which for years he was unable to overcome. Once finally neutralized, his memories as Sylar were erased by Matt Parkman, who forced him to believe he was Nathan Petrelli. Nathan's personality controlled Sylar's body for months, but Sylar was eventually able to return to his body. After a brief struggle with the remnants of Nathan's consciousness, Sylar regains full control of his body. Redemption saw an altruistic shift in Sylar's persona, when it suddenly dawned upon him that he did not want to be alone forever and with the help of Peter seems to have made a change for the better.

  12. (What?... I'd prefer if you used an original character.)

  13. (Yeah, sorry.)
