Everyone has those rough days! Something happens that just rubs you the wrong way and you fall apart. ? My question is, "What gets you through the day?" What keeps you going? For me it is my wife, my family, and my job where I can make a difference in teen guys lives! What about you? What gets you through the day?
My kids for sure, i look at there little faceses and for that time all my problems and worries go away
What gets me through the day is knowing that tomorrow can and will be better than today. So, that motivates me to move on with the rest of the day. Also, my friends! No matter what time of day it is I could also call/text my friends and they'd answer. Even if I'm having the absolute worst day ever I could count on my friends to cheer me up.
For me, honestly, nap time. If we don't get nap time my son and I get mad at the world until bedtime. ?Bless you nap time, I already long for your sweet embrace.
The thought of being able to go home after a long day and spend some quality time with my family and friends.
I am a school supervisor at a teenage boys correctional facility. I work 72 hours a week and absolutely love it.
On Father's Day some of the guys wished me a Happy Father's Day. I said, i am not a father yet. (They didn't know of my baby on the way) They said, "we'll, you have been to us" One of the best moments of working here!
Thats so sweet. For school, what got me through the day was the fact that it was my last year at that particular school. Up until two months before school was over I had be preparing and taking courses out of school to be able to be moved into the advanced programs at a magnet school downtown. But then I found I got accepted into an art school up north where my focus will be literary arts. That get me through the idea of living with who I will be living with. Also, my boyfriend gets me through just about anything because he has the ability to make me smile no matter what. My friends online (because I currently don't have any where I am ), my boss, and my horse help me through the tougher times and will hopefully continue to when Jay is sent to Japan.
Waking up every morning knowing soon I will be a Loving Husband to my Beautiful Fiance. Thats what gets me through my day!
