This is the first time I've written in the "fan fiction" section of the forums, in fact it's probably the first time I've even looked in here. Lately I've been struggling to get my creative juices flowing. I write books in my spare time, even winning a few awards for my writing. So I've came down here, to ask, what is a few idea's for a great book?
Dragons About a girl who finds a hurt baby dragon who takes it home and takes care of it, it gets better and gets stronger and grows bigger, eventually her family finds out she has it and they tell her to get rid of it but she can't let it go so she runs with her dragon friend and they live out in the forest together, her family get angry and they convince the village that they need to slay this dragon because its corrupting the girl, now the girl must choose between her family and friends or her beloved dragon And begin
No wait I have a better one About a girl who has never quite fitted in anywhere her whole life, she knew she was different to everyone else but she didn't know why, when she turns 16 her life suddenly changes, she becomes a dragon master destined to help fight to bring down the evil (I dunno you decide ) but she has to search for her dragon 1st and train it to obey her and become one with it. I dunno where I was really going with this one
Something creative, but in a genre you aspire in. Nothing too overdone something unique to your writing style. Other than that I look forward to whatever you choose to write.

It's normally like this: "LINDA WAKE UP IT'S YOUR FIRST DAY OF SCHOOL," my mother called. I groaned and jumped into the shower and after chose my outfit.... (Lalalalala this is so undetailed) >> Fast Forward to School>> OUCH! I bumped into someone! A really hot guy! Blahblah they fall in love.. The end. Basically most of the stories I see .
I'm not big in romance stories, not my style, especially when you've been hurt, you're not in the mood to write about love. Fan fiction forums are so dead I've noticed (\/)._.(\/)
Make it love story from the guys viewpoint... That's what I'm working on.... Or do an action pact thriller.... Idk romance is the most mainstream and easy to write. Action, to an extent is. Or post apocalyptic 2011 is when apocalyptic stories skyrocketed maybe its on a comeback?
Futuristic...? Sorry I don't have a lot to say. It's 2AM and my though process is all sluggish. I'm not focusing about hover boards and robots and electronic head gear and beep beep boop! kind of futuristic(those are still pretty cool though). See the thing is I just read this book, Bumped by Megan McCafferty, and the idea is about how teenage pregnancies are normal and even approved in a futuristic time. But it wasn't just a spur of the moment thing like "Hey let's just have irresponsible, horny teenagers have sex and get pregnant"(haha like they would even allow that in modern day society). No, it was because of a virus, a virus that switched your reproductive system off by the age of 18. So basically only teens could get pregnant. But instead of keeping the babies they would sell them on a market. And you would be on the market too. You would be paired up with some random stranger, have a child, and then give the child to a random family(all for money and fame*sigh* even in the future humans are still greedy). Honestly it's a very good book. I have yet to hunt down my local bookstores to buy the sequel. Personally I like this type of genre(Futuristic reality? Whatever it's call. Ihdgaf, I just read books and get it over with.) you can change the world and how society views different matters. Like in Bumped how they changed the perspective of teenage pregnancies from "bad" to good(ish). You can change anything to everything! Because it's the future! Who knows what could happen. Anyways what I'm trying to suggest is that you do a futuristic story, preferably with some sort of major change to Earth(global warming, biological warfare-aka zombies-, viruses, etc.) and describe how the world would be like. Of course it wouldn't be like some sort of essay. You would have your characters, your plot, etc., just in a different time period and with your changes. I know this all probably sounds crazy/confusing but hey you ask for some ideas. I hope you like it. I would have made a story coming from this idea but ehh I so lazy. So yeah.... Um that idea kinda scares me Rose. Futuristic mainly being virus end of the world apocalyptic or back to the future future.
Haha, i like those books too, reminds me of 1984 and oh damn what was the other one that was more like the one you suggested but way more different... Dammit gimme a sec -10 hours later- Brave New World There we go :3 oh the genre for the ones I mentioned are Dystopias or what's supposed to be a Utopian Society but it's really not a utopia (for those who didn't know) That's an interesting direction to go towards. I frankly don't like the apocalyptic and horror genre coming back again, it's like sporadic every year and no real timing to it. But whatever floats your boat or boats you float. Maybe something more supernatural is to your liking? Or maybe something in the Crime-Drama department? Or maybe even what fan fiction means and create a story set in an already placed world? Like a Naruto Fanfic or a Working! fanfic or even, dare I say it, a Supernatural or Smallville fanfic. Ooo speaking of Superman (in my head mostly) maybe a superhero genre! Possibilities are endless! So write what's in your heart, whether it's butterflies dancing in the sky above a meadow, or rain falling onto the unsuspecting guy who was on his way home after getting dumped/rejected. It's the story and world you want to create after all :3
Hm, i confused the op when i read it the first time. And congrats on the awards!!! Hm take away my fanfiction comment then and there you have my opinion.
Idk... my next idea for a story that I'm going to write are the current one finished is about many Satan spawns fighting for the throne to be the king of hell or something... maybe something along those lines...
