So i decided to start writing my poems again, so take your seats and listen well! ------------------------------------------------ Truth of Human Nature Humans are creatures, That's hunger never ends. They desire more, until that more is no more. Humans are sinister, For their hearts can be black as night. They can be emotionless, ignorant, And selfish. Humans are, though, compassionate, For not all are sinister. We all have our moments on the rollercoaster Of life. We protect our own And love our own with the purity we still posses. Mel's Review Station Poem: Sean's Poem Page Pt.2 Written by: MadFiendSean Extra Information: First time reviewing poetry. Picture~ All I saw was a bright light, a flash at the end of the tunnel as well as showing figures representing the sinister humans. Being such a short poem it doesn't give much away but the message was reasonably clear. Interest~ It's short, concise and relatable. It was easy and nice to read making myself think about a few things that have happened in life. The wording does make for an easy to understand and picture read. Theme~ For the theme as the title gives it away is 'The Truth of Human Nature' the poem goes through shortly the good and the bad. My thought was that it was about hope and love, your never to dark to not feel other one of them. Grammar~ I'm not too fussed or that knowledgeable about how poems are sort out but I do know it is best to keep any piece of writing neat. Which for the most part it is. Food for thought though, if when starting a new line make sure to keep them all either capital letters or after the first line lower case. One line of the poem I had a little trouble understanding as it doesn't make sense. Summary Review~ Since this is one of the only poems I've really seen on FanFiction I say give it a read! It's mostly understandable and clear even if you aren't big on poems as well as it being nice, short and sweet. Thank you for letting me review~
Fear: Emotions cannot be hidden, except for the one i describe. For emotions are real and this feeling is not. Fear is, and forever will be, a negative mentallity. That expresses the actions of human hearts. Ignorance can be birthed by Fear, for you are terrified of the THOUGH of change. You werent raised to know better, Therefore you cant do better. To be overprotective is a child of Fear, for you Fear the worst for the one you love so dear. Let this be a lesson and woe those who practice The experience of Fear. Tis nothing but a state of mind, that few can conquer. You must join the few that have done so.
