Weight-losing tips!

  1. I know this is super off topic.  Sorry. I'm just bored and decided to share some weight loss tips with all of you trying to lose a couple pounds.

    1. DRINK LOTS OF WATER
    Drinking at least 8 glasses of water each day will boost your metabolism and will help the fat-eating thingies in your body work better and stronger. I lost 5 pounds in two weeks just by drinking water and that wasn't with exercising. (I actually hate exercising. Ain't nobody got time for that.)

    2. COMPLETELY CUT OUT SUGARY DRINKS.
    Like seriously, cut off any soda or acidic drinks like orange juice because they do carry so many grams of sugar. One sodaless week, and you're guaranteed to "shed" pounds.

    3. WALK MORE.
    Don't take the elevator or escalator. Use the good old fashions stairs because even 1 minute of climbing stairs is going to jump start your metabolism and burn some calories.

    4. LIMIT YOUR FOOD PORTIONS
    The bigger the plate you have, the more you're more than likely to serve on your plate. Try using a smaller plate to fit lesser food, but also proportioned correctly. A serving of rice and meat should be no larger than your fist, but feel free to go all out on veggies. 


    These tips have worked wonders for me and I am 20 pounds skinnier using them, haha. Feel free to suggest some more tips, and I hope I've been helpful in some way. I do know how hard it is to lose weight and how self-conscious some people could feel, so follow these tips if you wanna lose 5lbs in two weeks or so. :)

  6. Eat whole grain or multigrain food instead.
    Ex: Replace white bread for whole wheat.
    This will help you feel fuller longer and is typically a healthier choice. (May take some getting use too)

    Nibble throughout the day. Rather then 2-3 big meals a day try eating 3-6 proportioned meals (as mentioned by the original poster) and nibbling on healthy snacks in between.

    Learn how diabetics eat to help keep their numbers down. They have lots of neat little tricks. One thing I learned is that carrots (and some other veggies) do not impact your glycemic index (your blood sugars), therefore when you're hungry you can eat as many as you'd like and it won't hurt your diet (unless you drench them in a fatty dressing like ranch).

    But also eat celery it burns more calories eating it then what it gives u 

    exercise is a much better option but don't trust online diets

    the only one you can trust is the "eat healthier one" but even then you can't drop sugar completely and meat is extremely important because protein or if you're vegetarian/vegan and have other ways of obtaining protein then go for it
