  1. I'm in a terribly blah state of missing home (Ireland). Any suggestions on what might help me get my mind off it? Lol pandora's box opening now, i see some odd replies in this thread in the future. Lots of things could take my mind off of it truthfully, probably every reply will for at least a few seconds  maybe a minute or two for the real funny ones

  2. How long are you going to be away from home?

  7. Aww, sorry to hear that. I hope it all works out for you. I understand what you mean, I miss Italy a lot, but I truly believe the saying "home is where you make it". For me having a little one and working constantly keeps me busy from even being able to sleep at times lol.

  13. Yes the original , great big sea did a cover of it at a show i saw that i liked a lot but the wolfetones are classic  there's no comparison 

  14. This is a tottaly rasist thing to say but Irish, are leprecauns real, and are you one?

  15. One of my most sentimental pieces I have is from my grandmother. She had stitched An Old Irish Blessing, as well marriage blessing, which was for my daughter. The Irish blessing was always my favorite and when I was a child her and I used to say it when she tucked me in. There are a few of them that they call " an old Irish blessing", the one my family followed is ;
    May the road rise up to meet you.
    May the wind always be at your back.
    May the sun shine warm upon your face,
    and rains fall soft upon your fields.
    And until we meet again,
    May God hold you in the palm of his hand.

    I have my daughter say it with me now, just as my grandmother did with me.
