PROLOGUE The light breeze swept through my thin dirty blonde hair, it wavering in the wind as i stood upon the edge of a cliff staring down into that dark, distant city which i once called my home. My legs wobbled and my feet were numb. The last 24 hours of my life were all a blur. My brain still hadn't been able to process all of what had happened. I was still in question over why and how these events occurred. Doubt flooded my mind relentlessly like the unending tide of the ocean pulling me back to shore, pulling me back to this cruel reality. Now all that I was left with were questions. A million of them with no answers. What will happen to my family? Did I even have one in the first place? Why was I chosen.. And no one else? What had I done to deserve this? Did they leave me here just to die? Was there even a purpose for my meager existence in the first place? And finally the most important one; What was I going to do next?

A Rude Awakening Smack! My door all of a sudden slammed open as I drowsily stirred awake from an odd dream. I could see blurry figures hustling over towards me. I quickly rubbed my eyes and than was able to recognize the figures. The three Royal guards dressed in there navy blue attire hovered over towards my bedside. Two of them snatched each of my arms simultaneously as they approached. "What the hell?" I grumpily sneered as they forced me out of my bed. The guards remained quiet as they proceeded to dragging me out of my room down my empty hallway. With no one to stop them considering my entire family had already disappeared on a so called vacation that I was oddly left out of. "Where the hell are you taking me?" I yelled as I struggled free uselessly. "Shut him up," the Guard not bustling me uttered with little emotion. *Gghhhhh* My body shook violently as my fragile figure drooped effortlessly. The guards lifting up my powerless body as a dimming darkness began to consume my entire world.
